Mephisto Genetics Sour Bubbly and Double Grape

Douple Grape

round 2

DWC, I think I am going to throw a little pump on it for now until the roots hit res. I have just been hand watering a couple times a day for now.
Yes you need to start putting some air in there. What sized pump are you going to use for that one

Two 30 gallon pumps. I am just watering now. Nothing in the reservoir just yet. I was thinking of a fountain pump to run a recirculating top drip while the roots are working out the net pot

You should get more air my friend. If you have 2 30 gph pumps that’s only 3 or so liters per minute. For a 5 gallon res I recommend a minimum of 40. I would get the 45 dollar active aqua commercial pump. It’s 45 lpm I think. If you have seen any of my input on the importance of air in DWC you know how important it is. If not lol let me know and I can go into more detail about the max O2 technique

This is the pump and airstone i reccomend getting, ive tried dwc without spectacular results using smaller pumps, stones and chillers, this time im giving it a shit ton of air, i habe a huge mbap thats looking like itll be well over a pound. I dont think res temps are as important if theres a large amount of air available, mine was in the mid 80s most of the time

@derek420colorado would the tetra ap 300 be enough air for one bucket? It is fish tank pump rated at 300 gallons

Amazon product

I might have to keep an eye at the local shop for some used pumps and use that for now. They said 2.6 lpm which blows I guess lol

I’ve been using the active aquas for a lonnnnng time they work great. They are a little loud but you can build a dampening box of some sort.
