Outdoor Seed and Breed Early Garden

It's been 2 weeks of straight gray and rain.. guess that's what I get for doing an early run

The rain has been beating up on the plants, and I think naturally supercropped one of the Rudys. Those things are tough though, they have made it through the bad weather and are about to be rewarded with normal temps and sun ☀️☀️☀️

My order from Seedsman just showed up (note to self: order before or after 4/20, not on 4/20) so I have some auto blueberry, auto lemon, auto amnesia haze, and photo Dr. Seedsman CBD to use during the good weather. Can't wait!

Here's the Rudy that got supercropped by the rain

The other two females. Both have pretty squat but hardy structure. One has a minty type scent after rubbing it.

NL about to pop its first 5 leaf, and smelling piney after rubbing on it.

Afghani looking pretty beat up, but hanging in there. Also starting to get a hashy/resiny smell.

The Rudys are flowering pretty well now. Definitely looks like two phenos, one typical Indica growth pattern and one that is more sativa. Foxtail buds are starting to form on all the girls.

A few pollen sacs opened on the male, not sure if any pollen made it to the ladies before the rain came. I wasn't able to cut it before the thunderstorms came through, but have since harvested the plant and put the remaining sacs in a Tupperware with foil to dry. Hope I still get some viable pollen.

NL is doing well and starting to hit the flower stretch. Afghani still has fucked up leaves, but is hanging in there. Going to see how it does.

Now for pics:

Slugs are munching on most of my plants both in the raised bed and in pots. What do you all use to keep them away?
I've not had too many dealings with slugs. But I understand if you put a copper band around the Stalk couple inches up from the base and there's no leaves or anything like that touching the ground that should stop them from trying to get up the stalk

Thanks gtg, I'll have to look into that.

I forgot pics of the NL and Afghani last time. Here they are!

Copper rings, slug pellets, some use diatomaceous earth sprinkled around the base of the plant.

Looking a fair bit stronger and healthier!
How much quality sunlight are they getting?

They're getting about 6hrs of direct afternoon sun, and finally they're getting the afternoon sun after weeks of cloudy/rainy weather.

I'm hoping to return of the sun reduces the slugs and gets my girls growing
