Return of the Mush Room

so grainspawn into coco? or if i understand your post coco the whole way through?
You got it, I use rye but I’ve read about almost any grain being used. Once that’s colonized, you mix spawn with coco. Coco doesn’t really have any nutritional value for them. The grain is the food source, so to speak.

why do you choose coco? why not a nutritional substrate like manure?

i see. how many flushes do you usually get?
3 is probably the average. Depends on how heavy it fruits on the first couple. Normally on the 3rd it’s running out of gas. However, i recently did PE and I got 5. Not many separate fruits but multiple in the 5 gram range.

nice! i'll share some pics/info once i get further along.

Had some friends stop out for the fourth and just after sun down, my buddy pulls out some shrooms. I haven’t had any in decades. So I am glad this thread has been started because this is something I would like to know more about. Been on other sites already that you guys recommended, so thank you all for that!
Wholly crap who would have thought there would be SO MUCH to learn. At any rate, I’m pretty good with weed, so why not try this on the side. I am hoping it can be as easy as you guys make it sound!

Look take it from someone who has done everything out their their is absolutely no medicinal benefits to mushrooms! I tripped on shrooms and uncle cid for years they fuck your brain up. And as for coke and X molly whatever the kids call it now a days they are drugs real drugs that kill and harm weed is good so dont tarnish the good with the bad keep that shit out of here.

I know it's a late response, but I think that most treatment protocols are with micro-doses, @Jean-O. The doses are far below what would make you high, and the benefits are cumulative, building over months. They are generally deemed safe unless you are on drugs like SSRI that affect the serotonin system.

There are some people, such as genuine shaman, who are qualified to use hallucinogenic doses for healing, and have done so for thousands of years. There is a long preparation period before the experience to ensure safety. It is way more deliberate than "Hey, dude, swallow this"

So why not let go of the stigma, just like people did with weed. It certainly isnt for everyone, but it is helping people. This isn't meth, or mdma, heroin or coke. Apples and oranges.

I have been taking a gram of Lions Mane daily for about a week, hoping for some new brain cells. I was a youth of the 70's, so I can use all the help I can get, if you know what I mean... I did many different psychedelics, and often, so I've had enough tripping for a lifetime.

Last time I took psilocybin would have been the mid eighties, but I have been reading about micro-doses with great interest.

I decided to try the Stamets Stack, or something like it. I got a 3 gram chocolate bar, and cut a 500mg portion into 3 smaller doses. I took somewhere in the vicinity of 170mg shroom with 1000mg of lions mane. As expected, I was not high at all, but there was a very vague little something. The day went by as usual except I didn't want a second cup of coffee.

About 12 hours later I vaped a bowl of indica and put some Playing for Change music videos on. My hearing was sharp and spacial.

BAM! It was so intensely euphoric, and I didn't have the indica body effects. I fell in love with each all of the musicians faces as they played from every corner of the world. I felt immense connection with my family, my dog, the earth, the universe.

But I wasn't tripping. No visual distortions or hallucinations, no wild mental rides, just pure joy and love.

As lovely as that was, I think that I will lay off of the cannabis on mushroom days. The following day carried a bit of that glow, but weed affected me normally.
