Return of the Mush Room

I don't know if you've done PE yet, but they are scary potent. Also, yes, they look exactly like dicks.

I ran some rusty whites and was really unimpressed all around. I don't remember if I had f7 or f8.

Koh Samui (not Koh Samui super strain) were the best and most uniform cubes I have run. Beautiful, consistent, potent, and flush after flush after flush.

That's real generous of you to offer to share with SOH :d5:
Shit I have been around long enough to know what SOH does for this place. I am happy to help in any way I can.
Yeah I have done PE and APE’s and honestly I like these CRS better, mainly because the come down is virtually non existent. With the PE’s I feel like the effects linger a little too long kinda like an acid comedown. Where I can’t go to sleep. With The CRS’ it’s like I think to myself ok it’s starting to wear off then 20 minutes later I can go to sleep. It’s legit AF

Just found this section. I’m a novice (8 successful grows so far) Has anybody successfully home grown anything but cubensis. I have all the literature so I understand the ins and outs. Just looking for some one with hands on experience. Just wrapped up a PE run. Haven’t tried them myself but I hear they’re great. I have 20g of truffle like aborts from the first flush, thinking of doing capsules with maybe a little added vitamin C and Niacin. I have a Treasure Coast set up in fruit as well. Crazy pinning. I enjoy growing both plants and fungus. Mushrooms are so SPECIAL though. Really exciting growing them. I look at them more like animals that can’t speak. I love hearing my friends stories about how it helped there marriage. Or helped them see something a different way. Anyways I’m so happy to have found this section. I hold all AFN members in a really high regard, such a great forum. Anyways hope to see some more posts. Maybe some tips? I’ll start, I use coco for substrate. I have battled Trich many times. Most recently, during a first flush I had a large spot pop up. I moved it outside to salvage what I could. I picked the fruits (previously mentioned aborts) I sanitized a spoon with bleach. I scooped out the infected area. Patched with vermiculite. Here’s the secret, I used 1 gallon of water(tap water 7ph 140ppm), I bumped the ph up to 7.5, I added 1 ml of UC Roots. This is what I soaked the previously contaminated substrate in. First time I’ve ever removed Trich and not had it come back immediately. I don’t think you need the UC Roots. The reason I upped the ph was research I found on people adding Lime to there substrate. Which ups the ph. Trich is much more sensitive to ph, it wants things around 7 or even the 6-7 range. No surprise the mushrooms could care less (within reason), fungus are one of the most durable species that exists. So up your ph a touch before spawning to substrate. It will help ward off contams. There’s your secret, it’s really hard to find straight forward information about cultivation. I hope this helps someone.

Disclaimer: I wouldn’t go all the way to a ph of 8. I can’t say from experience but there is definitely a limit on how far alkaline you can go. I don’t know the exact point of no return, but I did 7.5 and things went great.

what kind of lime are they/you using? are you getting the pH change from uc roots? i guess i'll look that one up.

Using my ph up from my hydro set up. Tap water in my city is 7. It already has stabilizers in it so I like it for mushrooms. The UC roots doesn’t effect ph.

I saturate my coco before pressure cooking. I also mist with it (just ph no UC roots). I only mist if I have enough air exchange.
Just uploaded a couple pics of my latest.
