Nice haul you got there ! I haven't tried cultivating my own yet, but am sort of intrigued. There's a couple of companies selling fully colonized substrate, and I might try a small one for a couple ounces dry.
In the late 70s'-mid 80s I knew a guy who grew shrooms, Noone else that I knew of did at the time, we all had to pick them wild in the spring and autumn. He had pounds of dry shrooms and a constant supply of fresh, and I always tripped for free.
The tek available then, he had to build a closet with sterile conditions. Still, sometimes a little microbe would get in there and spoil a whole petri, jar or tray. My townhouse has a mold problem, so I'd be better off starting with a pre-colonised bag of substrate.
I don't need to grow, I get super strong panaeolus cyanescence free from a guy who is *cultivating wood lovers* in a secret outdoor location, and lots of (unlicenced) dispensaries are selling cubensis cheap.
