probably should have mentioned this , plants 2-3 weeks old can be as far away as 36” & do great , especially in a close quarters reflective tent . That jump start will bring your harvests closer together, just gotta time it right so they are not fighting for space. Should have put this in one post , but I’m stoned & trying to do 3 things at the same time lol.

Raising the seedlings in the corner will work fine , as they don’t need much light at that stage . If you time it right it will work . You could also buy a 50w 22’’ solstrip with heat sink & driver for 70 $ . It’s made with the same diodes in your qb 135 & you can choose from 2700k-5000k , they even have duel spectrum strips with 3 rows of diodes. HLG sells similar products way cheaper then a cob . If you’re in the states google solstrips , they even have 50w far red/royal blue strips if you want to get fancy lol. The heat sinks are tapped & drilled at each end so you can hang them . With limited height strips/qb’s are more ideal & with the diodes spread out the plants can get within inches with no ill affect. Cobs are great but not the best for every situation

The first couple of days new sprouts do not need as much light. In fact 6500K CFLs 2 or 3 inches from them is fine. But after that they need as much light as they can get from about 28" to 32" for those quantum boards. If they do not get enough light they will be spindly and not grow to their potential.

I agree, that’s why the timing is so important for the rotation, it’s not hard to elevate a plant for a minute.

Day 37

She is still growing with the bud sites gaining height daily. By the looks of things I've been underfeeding so have increased the grow to 4ml per 1.5l in every watering shes drinking 3l aaday at the moment and I think she might need even more. Not giving calmag every watering as I think the bottom leaves are more likely underfeeding than calmag def.

Tents still smelling nice and I'm learning a lot from this grow. Mainly that I'm shit at watering and feeding but that will come with practice.

I've been reading a lot about Autopots the last few days and I think I'll be getting the smart pot xl version for my next grow with an airdome and probably an airstone in the tank. Will be switching to Biotabs as well, these look like exactly what I'm after, no fuss and seem to work well with straight tap water.

Day 41

Switched to bloom nutes so she's now getting 1ml grow and 3ml bloom per 1.5l. Budding up nicely, watching leaves grow is ok but this is when it starts to get exciting!

Anyone seen a good black Friday deal on Autopots or Biotabs?

Day 44

Stretch has pretty much stopped and she's budding up nicely. Giving her 1ml grow, 3.5ml bloom and 1.5ml magne cal per 1.5l 2/3 times a week and giving plain water in-between sometimes with 1.5ml magne cal.

Breeder says 70 days so just over 4 weeks left. Do you think she's on track to finish in 70 days?

Would love some input from you all. How do you think she's looking?

Defoliation is something I really have no clue about, done a lot of reading on it but unsure and a bit scared i mess up.

What would you recommend? Should i get rid of everything under the canopy and the bud sites that are lower and smaller?

I could take more pics tomorrow to showt below the canopy?

Advice is appreciated.

Take anything not seeing light your first time then after harvest you will see what needs taken next time.
