Indoor PREMIER HORTICULTURE PRO-MIX W/MYCORISE ?

Well, I couldn't get the Pro Mix, so instead I got Sunshine Mix #4. I heard it was pretty close to the same. Anyone heard about this? I also got Perlite, Blood and Bone Meal, Epsom Salt, Potash, and some Worm Castings. Can someone give me a rough estimate of how much they use, or would use mixed together?

I use Pure Blend Pro nutrients (grow & bloom soil) which are said to be organic and I also have cal-mag which I'm thinking I shouldn't really need to use much this go round with the other natural things i've bought.

Sunshine#4 is a good mix!! I almost prefer it to promix. I just can't get it as easy.

The pure blend isn't a true organic. You will have to leave some time for a good flush. I went from a living soil style organic grow to pure blend once, and i still have the bottle of it sitting there. Some friends of mine swear by it, but it doesn't touch true organic.

Don't want to scare you from it, just need to plan a good flush. I would almost use Final flush once, then 2 good rinses. That will keep your buds clean! And not waste the $ you spent on the ferts.

Alright, would you say a good flush is about 2 1/2- 3 weeks? Last grow was my first so I guess I really would'nt know, but definitely want to try the natural approach. Do you just make teas the whole way through?

I just started up a couple of seeds and will transplant them in about a couple of weeks. Should I mix the things together and water a week ahead of time? Do I have all the necessary nutrients covered?

Well you'll be a bit short on N with the amendments you have. I would only give them pureblend if they need it though. your mix might get them close to the finish.

Look around for DIRT's mix. Even FD's. It'll give you an idea of proportions and ratios. I used to use a few cups of blood and bone meal per 2 gal bag, a 1/2 to a full cup of Epsom. Lots of worm castings, like a 1/3 of my 2 gal bag. If you get time search for TLO organics. There was a great article in skunk mag a couple years ago on it. I think i have photos of it, it'll try to find them. It's a good read.

It is a good idea to let your soil mix sit for a few days to a week before you plant into it. Helps the micro life get established, and break down some of the additives in the soil.

About the flushing, i can spend 2 weeks doing it. some times a week. Depends on how fast the plant is using water. 3 good rinses will get it done. 1 with final flush, 1 good rise with pure water, and a last one for good measure. Has never failed me. It takes as long as it takes for the soil to get dry. So some times 3 days in between rinses.

Edit: I know it's a bit hard to follow, but i had to piece it all together.

There is a mix i try to follow when ever i am doing a pure organic run. You get the highest quality buds following TLO. This article may scare the shit out you like it did me.. EDTA's are a no go for me :D especially for how much i smoke.

Yea, DIRT definitely knows what he's doing. But that mix list is HUGE! lol So many things I would still need to get and dont really have too much extra funds. I'll look up FD's tho to see if that can help me out.

Bailer... this is great!!:D And just in time my friend! I was just about to post on the mix that I just put together and its really close to this one. Gonna go find this alfafa/kelp meal tomorrow tho to add into the mix. Im really excited to see the differences in smoke when its all said and done. Unfortunately I think that Im gonna go ahead and dump the pure blend stuff I have now. lol Its all pretty brand new anyways so I'll probably be able to get it off on craigslist for sure. I see you really have to know what you're looking for going into these grow shops, because I asked there :2cents: on 100% organic nutes and thats where they pointed me! Im going for the complete TLO experience this go round.

Quick question tho, my mix after watering a portion of it today to test ph came out to about 7.1. Are any of these ingredients going to drop in ph over time to where I dont want to try to get the starting mix at 6.3? And what do I put in there to drop it if not? I know that peat drops but hear it takes awhile.

Thans for the post

So I found the Alfafa Meal and got some Liquid Kelp as well. A friend told me to try Alaskan Fish Fertilizer in the teas and gave me some to try out as well. So I know have everything on the list Plus a few extras. Minus the greensand, which I dont plan on getting.
Think that Im just going to put a few drops ph down into the water I put in my mix to drop it from the 7.0 to try to get a stable 6.5.

What all do you put into your teas for vegetative stage?
