Indoor PREMIER HORTICULTURE PRO-MIX W/MYCORISE ?

JEM the epsom salt is for magnesium and i got my maxicrop kelp on amazon

LOL, I always say I'm going to mix it ahead of time but it just never happens. It does take time for the meals and kelp to break down. But I feed chemical nutes, so they get taken up faster than the organics. It seems to work out well and I've been getting much better results since switching to Pro-Mix and using this formula. I have the bottom 1/3 of a plastic 55 gallon drum that I use to mix. I can easily mix 15 gallon at a time in it. When I was mixing for my outdoor plants I mixed almost 200 gallons over 2 days. Next year I'm going to borrow my friends electric cement mixer. I can work out the ratios so that I can put a whole bale in, along with the right amounts of manure, perlite, etc. flip the switch and let er go.

I got the kelp from these people: http://www.groworganic.com/fertilizers.html. I'm also trying a couple of their other products like Micro Hume and MycoMinerals.

So Bone meal gives you Phosphorous, Blood meal gives you Nitrogen what is the epsom salts for? And the kelp is for Potassium..? where can that be found at?
And do you just stir all of this stuff together? I heard that the blood and bone take awhile to get into the soil good, do you mix these things up like a week or so before you even transplant into it?
Thank you

And Thai.... I might just have to take you up on that offer there. Currently still figuring out exactly how im going to do things.

ya kelp is a seaweed but i use the liquid and mix it in every watering

I use Botanicare Pure Blend Pro, I'm guessing these nutes take a little longer to uptake as its supposed to be organic. So maybe I should mix it all together and water it down a while before using.

Are all of the kelps equally as good? ie: liquid, kelp meal, the powder?

NVM... thanks sniper for answering that before i got it out! lol

Didnt know you could water it in.

So it probably uptakes quicker that way right?

I'm fairly new to growing with two grows under my belt that turned out pretty decent for a newbie. I grew from start to finish in BX with good results. I tried the Jiffy seed starter mix and hated it.

You had decent results without adding anything to the bx ZX12R? No deficiences? What nutes did you have?

No, I didn't add anything. I was only using the Fox Farm Trio. Oh yeah, I added molasses into the mix the last 3 weeks of flower. Didn't really have any deficiences either, except for one or two big fan leaves turned yellow and dried up on my me. Didn't really concern me though.

Thats great to know man! Now I know its not completely necessary to buy everything asap. I got advice from someone who had a couple of problems, actually grows photos so I was guessing things might be a little different!

Yeah, I try to keep it as simple as possible so I don't do much experimenting. My BHD's and Seedsman grows were done in BX. Actualy I started the BHD's in the Jiffy stuff and thought I was going to lose them. After I transplanted into the BX they started to come around. I'm not trying to grow record breaking yielders or anything. Just a few ounces for a couple of friends (and recently, family member) who are dealing with chronic/terminal issues. The funny thing is I don't even smoke so I have to depend on them to let me know how things turn out. So far they have been VERY happy. So keeping it simple seems to work for me..
