I wouldn't worry about lights at all tbh mate. I've had plants in the dark for ages mid grow, inside, outside, in the cupboard, in a bag even, and never had a hermie or anything like that.

Honestly mate, I run mine 24/0 but when my GF stays over I turn them off at night. So thats a couple of times a week, randomly! They don't seem to give a monkey's dude. Have moved vegging and flowering autos from indoors under cobs to outdoors, in a room with just daylight etc and they just take it.

I'm guessing shoddy genetics could be different, but avoid them anyway

Hello all its day 12 for her. I did my 1st bottom feed wasnt sure if it was for me. 15 mins later im like yup this is me. I was a little uncertain about amout to add so i didnt add more then a 1/4 gallon or so. Top was still dry though. I think next time ill water earlier in the day so I can watch my tray and if not all absorbed i can dump it out before work. Im assuming its not a great idea to leave standing water in there.
If any1 has any suggestions on anything im doing feel free to do so. Wont promise ill do anything with it but i like to hear what ppl suggest

When i got home last night i ponytailed my girl. With advice i received from the community here im going to leave it on 8 hrs every 2 days. Thank you @EvilScotsman and @A-Train.
It was more of a challenge than I was planning on. Those young leaves did not willingly comply to this. One leaf sneaked out and I didnt want to try re-do it for fear of breaking anything. Ill need to get pipe cleaners when i get chance atm im using a piece of solid core wire. Being very careful not to pinch anything.
