Indoor Cherry Bomb......blowing up the DWC! Don't fear the DWC.

Wow man, you always seem to produce phenomenal plants, what's your feeding schedule?

@HMR Thank you very much as well. I am learning to tweak my feeding. I use General Hydroponics Flora GROW, MICRO and BLOOM as well as GH's CaliMagic. I have Botonicare Silica and used HydroGuard on this grow. I started out at 100PPM after the tap root was a couple of inches long with the CaliMagic(Cal/Mag) since it had a 1-0-0. I feel with the MarHydro 300w old model LED starting out on a Cal/Mag does not hurt. I then use equal parts of GROW, MICRO and BLOOM while upping the amount of CaliMagic by day 10'ish or so I am up to 350+-PPM. I add the silica every couple of days at 50% rated feed. PPM and PH is checked twice a day and balanced both times. When they use more than 50PPM between feedings I then up the feeding by 50PPM i.e. I let the plant tell me how much she wants. I feel you want to just keep her on the edge of being hungry. My last Sour Crack was wanting up to 1,200PPM at one point. This Cherry Bomb did not ask for more than 850. Listen to your girls and they will tell you what they want. It's almost instant. With soil if you are feeding to much by the time she shows you her displeasure the damage is done and you spend a week back peddling with flushing etc. I stopped using GROW with this plant at around day 40 I think. The MICRO and CaliMagic has more than enough Nitrogen to cover her needs. Once I switch to "flowering" I move to a 1 to 3 ratio of MICRO to BLOOM. I add the Cal/Mag and then balance with MICRO and BLOOM. I have only done a couple of complete bucket changes this whole grow and frankly everything seemed much more stable than weekly changes like my first DWC grow.

Today is day 71 and tonight she meets the axe! Pulled the lights down to 12/12 for 1 day and then have done lights out for the last 24 hours and I think I do see a difference with a massive increase in FROST! It is also day 12 of her flush. I will post up final wet cuts weight once she is down....

So for the record she went 72 days from sprout. Really happy with her and my 2nd completed DWC grow. She is chopped and fairly well trimmed and in the cabinet drying. I am able to use my grow cabinet as a drying chamber. The floor of the grow cabinet is like a peg board with holes that draw air in from the bottom with the carbon filter at the top of course. I also have a 6" flip on fan moving air within the cabinet. While I did fall short of my wet chop total weight she did give me 952 grams wet....so that sure beats a poke in the eye with a sharp stick so I am still happy. And looking for a little over 5.5 oz dry.

Well I did a final trim, weight and into jars today and very much to my surprise the final dry weight was 225 grams. Just shy of half a pound!!! I am stunned with her and she has become my new personal best!
