She is a double grape amenisa cross from Mephisto
I goofed it up a bit im ashamed to say. When I removed the pony i damaged a fan leaf and the other leaves i tied up sort looked wavy after releasing. Im hoping that things will continue on as before. Ill know after work

2 days after my sad attempt at ponytail. Didnt slower her down to much. I did tear 2 leaves but they seem ok besides the holes in them. I really considered clipping them especially since both of them are totally blocking all lite to bottom 2 nodes. They looked healthy so im going try again but useing some of the Miss's crafting supply. I wrapped soft twine around the leaves a few times. Cut a piece of wire to help keep wrapped leaf out of the way. Ill untie her tomorrow 7. Here's the latest

howdy bud youve not quite got the right idea there. you dont want to wrap individual leaves. the aim as i understand it is to pull up leaves around the top nodes in order to expose the lower bud sites. the big fan leaves youve wrapped up should be able to just tuck under the rest by the look of it. from my experiments ive found it best to tuck all the fans under that you can then ponytail whats left at the top.

That’s what I thought as well. However, doing it this way may be able to accomplish the same. We will see I guess.

The only downside I see in wrapping the the fan leaves is that it may lose a bit of it’s ability to consume light(energy).

I rolled leaves up cuz i was on the fence if I wanted to cut em off or not. They were/ are blocking my bottom nodes of all light. I didnt want to stress her to much. She seems on the smaller side so far. I wanted to promote bottom growth but fan leaves i couldnt tuck. This plant is short and nodes are nearly stacked on each other. I have big construction hands not delicate at all. So im doing what i can lol.

thats exactly the downside mate lol. tuck them under the branches and you wont have that problem but still get more light where you need it. all the little bits of stress here and there add up. unless theyre lablled XL the veg time will be pretty short so its generally a good idea not to be to harsh with them untill theyre ready for it. if you can avoid a little stress then why not : )

Honestly, if your ok with rolling em up like that you might as well just tie them down. This was 3 days after and all lower nodes are already caught up.

I unrolled my leaves lol. Bottom nodes did reach out a decent amonut. She grew some so i was able to tuck the leaves instead of rolling 'em. I want to ponytail her once more really get those bottoms up there. So im thinking 1 more day then ponytail her for 8 hrs give her a day then ill start tying her down and spread the branches out
