ok, today is a good day. today is the day i just clicked ok on a hygrometer order! you know what this means, dont ya? yes, this means that the curing stage is right around the corner. I also had to order a new mini microscope. the ones i got were 30X and didnt have an LED light. costed me 2 for under $4 american, if that gives you any indication of how well it works..lol. anyhow, the one i just got costed me $14, and it goes up to 100X and has an LED light. Just in time for checking the trichs. Now, all the buds are looking fatter and better everytime i take a gander at them. Most of the hairs are now "hugging" the buds, and they have like a off white, creamy, milk sort of color to them. it almost looks like theyre covered with a film, in a good way~not bud rot..lol. The crystals on them are just multiplying double, and they are literally covered by them. I plan on making hash with the sweet leaves in the future, and these ones have been dipped in sugar, so theyll be great for that. I would imagine that im gonna have to harvest more than just these 3 plants before i can start making hash, right? maybe after i harvest my photos.
Speaking of the photos, gosh they are looking awesome! not a blemish on any of the four. They must be ALOT less sensitive to soil PH than auto's are. At one point my generic WW's had some tiny yellow spots on them, but it was short lived. They are thriving right now. I cant believe how bushy the G13 and Dinafem brands are. Leaves on them are so fat too. I know ive mentioned it before, but the two generic ones leaves look Sativa all the way. I cant wait to have such a wide variety of White widow in jars. Im going from No bud to having enough to last me all friggin' year! lmao. That wont stop me from starting another batch of girls though. Im literally addicted to this hobby, even with all the trials and tribulations ive had. This would be a great journal for someone starting to read, to see the importance of water/soil ph from beginning to end. Im not sure why, but the seedlings, for almost 3 weeks just thrived in this soil. without any adjustments. When i added lime to a test solo cup, an got it at 6.7, i planted a germ'd generic WW seed in it, and it was a flourescent lime green color for 3 weeks. I basically terminated it due to time restraints, no more time for anymore photos. It was definetly textbook nitrogen lockout. I never took any pics, or maybe i did, im not sure~ I never highlighted it in conversation tho.
Well, sorry for all the rambling, but if anyone sees anything in this post they want to comment on please do, good, bad or simply informational. As usual, thanks everyone...Growbewan.
