New Grower Ok, ive been debating it, but heres my 1st grow journal.

its actually not first, it runs from the mixture, through a tube to the smaller bottle (filled with water) then runs through the bottle, out a tube coming out of that bottle, onto the plant. Sounds alot more complicated than it really is, trust me. I actually enjoy doing it though, gives me another excuse to work on my hobby..lol

I have really been considering getting one and then letting my temps get even higher, because that's how your plants get the most out of co2 if you're adding it.

And yeah I meant first before going out to the plant. Mixture first then water then out.

yes if the plants get supplemental co2, then they can withstand temps up to 90 farenheit. (ive read) i still dont let my room go over 85.

haha. I have read higher than that really. Damnit I don't really have $30 more to spend. I really want one. My space is small and I don't know if I wanna make all those bottles. I have seen just using one gallon jug and having several tubes coming out and onto the plants.

I use a yeast culture right now as well, same idea you have. I noticed a difference. No way to prove it with numbers but they seem to be more vigorous.

The project put me onto another idea.

They have these co2 kits for fish tanks. It's used for when you have a ton of plants in your tank. The kit screws onto paint ball co2 cans. The big paint ball cans can hold a bunch of Co2. Google it, you will be surprised how big of a paint ball co2 can you can buy. The kit comes with a bubbler and a regulator as well. I think the kit was under $100. You supply the co2 source/tank though.

I thought it might be a good option for us tent growers.

Yeah I was wondering if, theoretically, one could just periodically cut all the fans off and everything, and blast your painball gun or airsoft(with no ammo of course) over the girls and let em sit for a bit before you turn the ventilation back on?

Yeah, I remember all that jazz. Co2 is a little more simple though, haha. It'll be pretty easy to know from what's in it if that produces co2, then we just need someone to get it and use it

There are even cheaper builds you could put together but I figure if you had that on a slow trickle you are going to get some benefit. Without the brewery smell

well guys, thanks for all the great info~suggestions. Anyhow, I just watered my AKR's again, its been 3 days since they got fed. Im noticing them fattening up a little bit, and the leaves are definetly not getting any worse on those two trouble makers..lol. Im so happy i got that ph fig'd out! i tested the runoff again to day and its still right on point.
As far as my photos, my oh my! My tallest grew 6 inches in the past two days..oh my friggin' gosh..I moved her from close to the hps, to the t5 side of the tent to get her some blue spectrum, and she's lovin' it. my others are just going through a major growth spurt as well, the veg nutes have been getting fed at full strength and oh boy they must be lovin' it! Since im vegging them for such a good amt of time, they are gonna give me a ton of phenominal bud. I reckon i wont even have to grow anymore for quite a bit, but im gonna anyhow cuz im more addicted to the hobby then I am the actual weed..lol
Im gonna just have to start giving the stuff away, any takers? hahaha
Anyhow, my wife and i have decided that were gonna keep about a half oz of every strand we can in a jar for the next year or so, so i can have a plethora of different strains to admire and choose from. I would absolutely LOVE the selection of my own accomplishments, and when i have good friends from back home(where im originally from) come visit, or who knows, maybe friends that i meet here, theyre sure gonna love it too! Ok, i think ive rambled on enough for now~ no complaints though which is good! Today is a good day.
Oh yeah one more thing, id have some great pics, but my camera's battery is dead. We'll have to wait another day or two. :smoke:
