New Grower NugNoob's - First Grow Adventure! AK-47's

Day 3 (3-9-17 Morning) - How are they looking?

Maybe a little droopy? I def don't have an eye for this yet lol. I've only been squeezing little droplets of water around the base of the stems once a day the past 2 days and lightly misting maybe 4 or 5 times a day. Didn't do any of that this morning. They've been put under domes for about 6 hours on day 1 and 2, not doing it today.

Light is at 28" (2inch down from yesterday)
Temp: 74-79 over 24 hours / RH: 60-68%
Exhausting with the 440cfm 6inch fan 2 minutes every hour.

Here's my girl Jupiter still leading the pack.

Hey mate,

I just checked out homepage of Mars Hydro, but didn´t found which light of MH you are using? Could you please post me details on your MH?..

You hit us with a time lapse pic ? That's really cool !

Haha, thanks. I've got a web cam going 24/7 inside the tent that goes all the way back to my PC I'm typing on now. Snaps a shot every 5 minutes, so I've got plenty more to come. Will be interesting when she really starts taking off!

Hey Mongol, it's the MarsHydro 600w LED, I wanted to get the Viparspectra 600w Reflector Series for a little more penetration, but it was delayed twice (2 weeks past due!) from Amazon. But I gotta say they stepped up to the plate when I was trying to figure out if they even shipped it yet by offering me overnight shipping on any other light I picked out. I didn't even yell at them or anything, which was cool. But this seems to be working fine for now... but I'm already looking at getting in on that sweet COB action @Slater @BigSm0 and @budelee got going on!

The coverage of the Cob lighting is phenomenal, but also dependant on how many, how close,lens/no lens.. The diy guys like @BigSm0 will set ya on the right path..

Hey mate,

just checked out the MH, but didn´t found technical instructions of the light....I know that you did lots of research before starting your first grow....and I´m for sure you really checked up all about your grow, but i carefully mean that distance at 28`` for your seedlings might be to close, for to much PAR hitting the surface of this little leaves....?

Look at the instructions of my lights...

By experience of my first Autogrow i learned, that if you are going to fast down/close the lights to the seedlings, also later in vegetative grow the tips of the leaves arrange up, which means to much lightinput......determined from my grows plants are ready to get closer slightly to the lights after showing 1-2 real 5-leaves, my plants really are ready for full PAR-strength in 1-2 weeks of bloom.....looking on the photos you posted it seems that first seedling-leaves curve and undulate a little bit...its like my seedlings did it in the past going to fast down the LED`s....in best case I´m wrong and for sure you check up your little ladys seriosly....

Hey mate, what do you mean?:pass:

It´s so difficult for me to find right words in english telling what i mean, hope you understand it.-)

That could be the reason of why you see them a littel bit "droopy"....
