New Grower Noob grow (think different).

Also, is there a key somewhere that explains what all the little icons on a person's profile means? They're very pretty but I have zero clue what they mean and it's driving me a little insane. Lol

We used to have a key to most of the badges around here but I believe that's undergoing revamping just like the website has been. If you hover your mouse over somebody's badges you ought to be able to get an explanation. You can also go to their profile page and then select the badge Tab and it will tell you what everyone is for for a particular person you're looking at.

I just looked at mine and saw this gold star which was new to me has just appeared here recently. I think what that means next year I'm going to be on the cannazone in level 2, but I'm not sure. The Cannazonian designations and levels are four official product testers. I believe the auto Warriors are member managers that are just watching over certain sections.

Then many of the badges are self-explanatory. Like you could be a reviewer for a seed company simply by doing a smoke report. You can attend special events over in the live Stoners gossip section and get a badge for that. Those events usually have a lot of freebies giving away I may fall around sort around holidays. Like you'll see a lot of people little have a badge that says 420 on it. I kind of looked around this website for a couple years before I went and made an announcement so I gotta lurker badge, I also got a badge for making alive introduction, if you put a picture of your plant up in live Stoners you can have a flash your bush badge in live stoners.

Some people look at Badges and reputation points and likes received as kind of an indicator about how reliable the information is that they're giving.

Small update.
Day 20.
I've also been doing some training. I'm still amazed at how quickly the plant recovers. With a few hours it's already pointing back up. Today I also noticed the lady parts have just started to show.

Any tips on when I should switch to bloom nutrients?

Nice grow man! Sickened I opted for a cfl, shoulda got the led and went hungry lol

Lst is awesome especially in tight spaces, im on my first grow and had 2 mishaps with breaks but it was all good. The plants are unbelievably resilient! If your really tight on space look into scrog. I highly recommend it, a lot easier than it looks :)

I like to wait until my plants have set solid little button sized buds on them before I transition over to my Bloom nutrients. I usually take a week or two to do a full transition but then I'm in Coco I feed every single day.

Thanks.
Do I need to start at half strength like I did with the vege nutes, or can I just start bloom nutes at full dose?

I don't really know your nutrients schedule. What I would prefer to do is do half veg nutes and half Bloom nutes for a week or so before switching to full bloom nutrients. The total strength can be whatever it is you're feeding now it's just that you kind of transition over to bloom you don't just stop one and go straight to the other.

Day 26. Scrogging.

Yeah, I know. First grow, don't run before you can walk etc. But I'm treating this first grow as an experiment really, and a bit of fun. I'm learning a lot about how quickly these plants recover after manipulation. As I said in a previous post, as-long as I get something I can smoke at the end, I'll be happy. For now I'm just enjoying the ride, lol.

Currently on terra vega 3ml/1ltr, growing in Terra Pro Plus.

Smell, is still an issue. Despite working out all the fans and stuff. Nothing major, but there's a definite aroma in the room. Exhaust vents outside. I stood outside for about half hour the other day, didn't catch a wiff. So that's something.

I initially did some training with pipe cleaners, to try and make the main stem circle around the edge of the pot, the side branches have filled the rest of the screen, and I'm hoping that I'll be able to have a nice even canopy when it starts to flower.
Lady parts are starting to show Now too.

Quite pleased with how it's going so far.

Already though there are a couple of things I will do differently next time. 1) bigger grow tent. Certainly taller if possible. 2) I hadn't realised just how much this plant would be drinking. At present, she's downing 1ltr every other day with minimal run off. I suspect this is in part due to the airpot - more airflow in the pot means it dries out quicker? That's my assumption anyway.

When it comes to harvest, I image this will absolutely wreak. I understand that ONA gel is not supposed to share the same air as a flowering plant, but what about during the drying stage? Would the same rule apply, or at that time would the buds be done absorbing things from outside sources etc?
