New Grower Noob grow (think different).

Day 33.

I think it's still going ok, I'd be interested to hear what people think though. The leaves look a little droopy?

Soil is drying out super fast. She's drinking 1ltr every other day with 3.5ml terra vega.

Buds sites are pretty obvious now, hopefully the training I did will help keep the canopy even.

Thoughts?

Looking good man, did ya decide to ditch the scrog?
How are ya checking the soil? My plants are 62 days (still small for their age) but theyre only getting half a litre every day, ive seen droopy leaves like that on over watered plants.
Another guess would be nitrogen toxicity, tho I cant really see the true colour of the leaves. Both easy enough to fix tho, hope this helps

Leaves are all nice dark green, apart from a couple in the centre, I that's due to light penetration, or rather lack thereof.

I have a ph meter, seems to float between 5-6. Temp is a constant 26 deg C.

As far as checking the moisture of the soil, I did get one of those moisture meter things. Garbage. Broke after two uses. Now I stick my finger in and see if it's dry or damp. Also lifting the pot. Lifted it to today and it was as light as a feather. Watered, then felt heavy. I also water until I see run off, then stop.

Re: scrog, yeah got rid of it. It was just in the way. I think I prefer to actually take the pot out, and then I can have a proper look at the plant and train with pipe cleaners. Seems an easier way to do things. Especially with limited space.

If the soils dry and the pots fairly light, id scratch overwatering. How dark is dark green?
Really dark green, heavy leaves could be Nit. Toxicity, she wont need nearly as much now shes flowering.
Again thats just a newbs guess lol
The guys in the infirmary section might have some more concrete answers

Hi all, apologies for lack of updates (if indeed anyone is watching, lol).

This is day 71.

Would appreciate some input from an experienced grower. Over the last couple of days, the leaves have begun to turn almost completely yellow, with faint purple edges.

I am unsure what the cause may be though. Nutrient burn? Nutrient deficiency? Over watering? Underwatering?
As this is my first grow, I have no frame of reference. The plant itself has been growing steadily, and seems to be developing normally. I'm nervous though that it's about to die just weeks before harvest. Is the yellowing normal when the plant reaches the end of its life?

Further, I done research on when the best time to harvest is. ie. Looking at the pistils, the trichromes etc, but can anyone tell me roughly how far away my harvest date is?
I'm looking for the sativa type energy high, rather than sofa lock, and as I understand it, the longer I leave it, the more cbd will be produced. Is that correct?

Dunno if it's relevant, but I'm using 300w Viparspectra LED on a 20/4 cycle. No nutes now as I read somewhere that I should lay off the nutes when harvest time is near.

Lot of questions I know, would be grateful for any tips.

Apologies for shitty pic. Phone is being a twat.

hey buddy that was a nice read : ) the burnt bits are nute burn and the yellow is deficit. your flushing though so thats supposed to happen i believe. you are correct in that sativa high is earlier chop. best way to get advice on that is take a close up shot and post it in live stoners. if you havent got a macro camera or that you can download a free macro app for your phone. get as close to the trichs as possible and someone there will let you know : )
