Beautiful muddy. Bit of honey in the pot water yum. Last time I was back in Oz I smashed a few of those and quite a few bugs as well.

The price of seafood nowadays made it a bit hard to enjoy a good feed when everything is drenched in tears.. too salty. The pot thieves make you lose your hair too. If you have a good spot then that's a huge luxury that goes often unappreciated.
 
Many years ago when I was prawn fishing we had no market for bugs , now they are worth more that prawns , In the wet season we can get prawns in a cast net up the river . Best time is before the big rains , not real big but bloody nice . :thumbsup:
I haven't had prawns since the late 80's. I used to go across the island to a farm to get them on Oahu. They were so good over Kiawe wood!
