Non cannabis gardening . And things .

.hopefully that won't be put to the test though!

Aye @Waira ....I'm Hoping that too.......:yeah:..farmer said 47 years since the last one as bad...Fingers Crossed it is another 47 huh..

duck water.... sounds nasty and full of unwelcome pathogens for you and the dogs,.... plus the damn things just poop the place up horribly!

Aw damn...I was hoping it might act like fish tank watter......I'll scratch that off the list then.........:nono:

@Waira ..how do we stand on air-con watter....?...is that okay or not.....:pass:

Hey, I'm just speculating on the duck water, but many pathogens use birds as life cycle vectors,.. I'd check more deeply into this if it's really a plan,... it could be great, maybe not for food plants though?

AC water, depends on how old/foul the res' and lines are and if they are moldy,... for ornamentals, probably fine though!

@Mossy @Waira AC water can be used for plants , but there is obsolutely nothing in it mineral wise . mixed with rain water there is , I looked into a few years ago just before the lad made the fish pond . Duck pond water is just fine to use on plants , it was another thing I looked into , But snakes like ducks more than me . :haha: Waira - as you know I have been following your adventure with KIS , I recon it is a great way to introduce growers to organic and live in citys - large towns - Mossy , any little fish you can get will work , I have what is called guppys [ local ] and they breed very well and are cheap to feed , also with some water plants you don't have to worry about air pumps .

Cheers @hecno ..... :bighug: ....if anything I Think the water here is too mineralised..especially Cal...so air-con water could be a good dilute.

I Kinda Think my agricultural water will be like Fish Water...naturally......
When the water level is up...it has big 4-6 lb fish in it.....for fish that big it has to have many living nutrients in it huh...?

@Mossy Duck pond , think of all that lovely duck water you will have to feed the plants and using to build soil :woohoo1: I have not grown Avos , get a big bag for $5.00 here , we have a number of farms that grow them and my native soil at home is no good for growing them . What type of banana is it , I have lady fingers growing in the yard , way better than cavendish .

Shame @hecno ..I Think I might have the wrong conditions for Avocados here too......
There are no Shortage of grow vids...and I've tried a lot of Tricks....but I Kill them as fast as I buy them.... :wall:

I've planted the pips this year to give me something to Practice on....coz the year olds are like 15 euros each.....so I want to try to get it Right before I invest more money in Bought ones......:pass:

The Bananas....I'm afraid I don't remember.

I bought a local one..(garden) then I read that the Dwarf variety survive cold conditions better...so I bought the one in the bin on the patio.

I've just cut 3 survivors out of the dead garden core yesterday.......coz I cannot keep them hydrated ATM...

and I'm leaving the ones in the bin until Sept when the weather cools a bit.

I think it is more of a case of the first time I have noticed them  We get lots here . @The_Skunkist Amnesia - Kush , perfect for late in the day , [ number 2 ] :cooldance:

I had a very good day today , Got my cold smoker done . It is a smaller one for little amounts . All up cost $54 . The cabinet is a old stainless steel dishwasher , just the right size .
DSC_0008.JPG

Here is the plumbing  I already had the cold smoker unit . The top part is the chamber .Has a hole in the bottom for smoke to get in
DSC_0007.JPG

Had it done by lunch time and I have been wanting to do smoked prawns , I just happened to have a box of green prawns . Mate owes a prawn boat so I swapped so weed for them . --- Peeled and deveined --- After about 2 1/2 hours they had enough smoke . -- still raw --
DSC_0001.JPG

Now , what to do with them . Yes I do creamy garlic prawns thats what :cooldance:I have never made it before , so a quick goggle to see what the go is and here we have it , The prawns infused the smoke into the sauce while they where cooking , which I did at the end .

Next time I do it I will add fish as well . I git heaps of fish as well
