Lighting New on this forum

Hi,

My Cob wardrobe is almost ready only some small things to do like the mounting 2 fans on a rail so they can move up and down.
Have 2 tube heaters if the temp, goes to low when the light are off. Will need to calibrate the wardrobe and dail it all in for the best,
temperature and have to seal the doors as it like to be light tide.

Hopefully will start next weekend not sure what strain yet...

Great set up ,, :d5:

You are very talented. The drawings are beautiful. It probably won’t be a problem with 2 plants and since it will be a constant flow of air humidity shouldn’t build up to much but I have seen many that exhaust to an attic create a nasty mold problem.

Is your attic vented with Ridge, soffit or gable vents? Will there be a control on the fan to lower the speed? The thing is I see many people vent their spaces but they don’t understand air pressure. All air you force out will need to be made up. Like the intake and exhaust on your tent for example. That air is coming from your room which is coming from your home. If it is 100cfm for example you will have taken all the air from a 10x10x8 room in 8 minutes. Not bad in the spring or fall months since most aren’t heating or cooling but in the middle of winter you will notice drafter windows and doors. The air is being brought in to make up what’s being sent out will be noticeable. Same with all alliances in your home that exhaust out. Furnace, fireplace, bathroom fans, dryer.

Thanks BigSm0,

Yes installed a fan controller able to set temperature and * low speed. My attic is vented and exhaust is going out.
Air intake can be mixed or (outdoors (summer)) or (indoors (winter)) (all filtered)

Been following along and have to say the drawings made me curious, but I was like well let’s see what happens. Now seeing the actual construction, I’m set back on my butt with amazement. That is some beautiful work my friend.

Thanks for the positive comments guys & girls,
(btw. any girls here on this forum (beside the green females )

I am looking for a Autoflower strain (sativa dominant) uplifting, energetic and “cerebral” high!
and a straight forward old school (photoperiod) strain (sativa) no hybrid!

There are so many so called breeders out there and prices vary so much (I wander why?)

Any suggestions?

Just an observation,

I've ordered 3 x 3500 K (flower red) and 1 x 6500 K cobs (veg blue)
You can clearly see the difference in color after color correction in PS (photo below)

Will start with 1 x 6500 K cob (middle) only to propagate my seedlings and over time
switch on left and right cobs as well. Going in to flowering mode middle cob (6500 K)
will be swabbed for a 3500 K cob.

I still have some Skunk auto-flower seeds who I used for an outdoor garden grow last
summer with a reasonable outcome. Will use them to test my new set-up, can't wait!!!

Oh btw I see allot of tents being used and i wonder what about stealth?
Do all the tent users live where it's legal to grow?
I still have to go for the stealth option not only for visitors/sleep overs at home
but it's still highly illegal so it needs to be hidden, silent and odour-free.

Very, very nice cab set up. Impressed is not a strong enough word..lol
From the concept drawings and final product...One could assume you have a background in engineering , carpentry or your a shop teacher, with a touch of OCD perfection syndrome..which is'nt a bad thing! ..lol

:slap: Deserves a little rep. for the time and effort and skills you put into this!

Dutch Passion has some of the best genetics and I highly recommend them. They have a Durban Poison, can’t get much more sativa than that, and they have it both in a photoperiod and an autoflower. Take your choice and you can’t go wrong.

I grow where it’s very illegal and use tents for stealth. They hide every thing and when setup correctly can look like those cheap wardrobes some people use. If I have visitors I just turn off the fans for awhile. Both tents are also in areas of the house not frequented by visitors. No sleepovers here so that is not an issue as the kids grew up and moved away many years ago.
