It was a pleasure to have you as an audience, it's all done and jarred up to be Cured for a few weeks.
The small jars are labelled and also kept in a cool dark place see it as my private weed cellar.
Will let it age like a fine wine.

Dried for 7 days (snapping stems) what's left is 162 grams (5.71438 ounce) not to bad but can be much better!

Auto flowers,

Over the past few months I've tasted a few auto flowers strains. Maybe it's me but it seems they all taste and smell a like same for the high.

Can it be that the ruderalis is dominant?
All those fancy names/hybrids do they really make a difference?

I’ve smoked quite a few autos and I’m the worse for asking what the terpene profile is but I can say they all tasted different. My one outdoor grow buddy has a nose that should have belonged to a fine wine enthusiast and he can tell me by the smell almost any strain I put to it.

The only thing that should be left of the Ruderalis cultivar is the ability to autoflower and possibly some of the low height. Otherwise you would have a short plant 20-80 cm with little branching or stretch during flower and low THC production. The ones I have seen made hemp plants look good.

Here’s a picture of some crap genetics a breeder sent me once to try out. Way too much of the R is left in this bitch. It literally wasn’t worth the effort to smoke it.

Okay,

Last post on this thread & preparing my wardrobe for the next run.
Not sure LSD or Utopia Haze both are photos femmed, I think it will be the LSD.
Don't want to do a auto flower as I want to see the difference to a photo (so the auto Durban has to wait)
I still have some original Skunk [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] untouched (photos not feminized) about 18 years old before the hybrid explosion
Gonna plant them in the third grow and pollinate (allow fertilization) to get more seeds of this old fashion (clean) strain.

Hey Raincheck - I just checked out some of your grow! Nice looking plants, you obviously have a green thumb and know what you're doing!
I don't want my post to come across like i'm trying to teach grandma to suck eggs (odd expression eh!?!) - but i've got some thoughts on this.

I went through a phase of ALL my weed having a similar taste (and something i couldn't put my finger on, but didn't like).

Turns out that i was doing something that i always assumed would be the right thing to do ... but once i stopped - everything changed.

I was PH'ing my water ... right to the end. And once i ditched the PH management in the last 10 days, and just fed plain water (no nutes ... no ph), everything tasted dried cured and tasted / smelled better.

Could it be the same for you? I don't know, just a suggestion from my experience.

I discovered this growing in coco .. but now i use organics and autopots.

I also meant to say, try mixing it up with the reputable breeders - If you're looking for variety & connoisseur flavours (sometimes over yeild) and variety i could suggest a few strains.

Sweet Seeds - Cream Mandarin (this is one of the fruitiest things i ever smoked - pure orange blast) very nice but wouldn't want it daily (personal prefernce)
Sweet Seeds - Black Cream (It's a purple Kush - Creamy and a bit fruity)
Mephisto - White Triangle (or similar if not available - may need to check with them) It had the clean minty/pine taste with a kinda skunky funk.
Sweet Seeds - Red Poison - Made my eyes water and gave me a head ache while trimming ...lol - so strong! Acrid!

Check out some smoke reports from some of the well regarded growers for a bit of inspriation - you can always get different phenotypes, but i've found them to be helpful when making my choices!

I’ve found mephisto to have serious terps and an array of different ones too. Some I didn’t know existed. Healing path genetics has some tasty strains too. His northern lights cbd haze is superb medicinal smoke or just for a good time chillin. Very classic NL. Some strains are known to take a while to cure. Try the plain water can’t hurt too.
