By the way I bought all of my lumigrow Pro 325s off of eBay used anywhere from $300 to $500 a piece.
So two of these would be enough for my 5x9?By the way I bought all of my lumigrow Pro 325s off of eBay used anywhere from $300 to $500 a piece.
My first instinct was to go with led honestly. Hid is just so common and proven that I figured it was the safest bet. If I understood this cob stuff I would just buy them at this point actually. There are a lot of guys here that make their own LED lights using cob chips, we have a whole section on how to do exactly that. That would allow you to choose something that would light exactly your space I can't tell you so much about the heat you have to talk with one of the guys in that section. But I can tell you everybody that is switched from hid to a good quality LED or even a home-built cop light is happier switch.
You intake should be twice the size of your exhaust. Is the exhaust from the tent exiting into the room or out of the room the tent is in? You should be able to make this setup work.My first instinct was to go with led honestly. Hid is just so common and proven that I figured it was the safest bet. I appreciate the input @jingo!
No link on my end @iampepe. I looked up the cob build you did and I have no idea how you did any of that lol. I wish I did because it looks sweet and I want two ASAP! Awesome work my dude, way above my level though. You intake should be twice the size of your exhaust. Is the exhaust from the tent exiting into the room or out of the room the tent is in? Cobs give you a lot more usable light than HID's, better spectrum, more efficient and less heat. I'm using 300 watts worth of cobs that replaced a 600 watt hps per 4 x 4. Check my link below for my cob lights
