I’m just running contained units no extra rez. Didn’t have the extra money to shell out for anything else beside what I got lol. I was just trying to be a cheep ass tell I get a grow or two under my belt. I would love to learn your set up but Idk if I’ll have the time or money to set anything new up with what I have already

Well here's an example of how it's done, in case you decide you want to do it at a later date. It's just a simple way to double your Reservoir capacity and give you more time away.

You use a hole saw to drill a two and a half inch hole in the bottom of two of your buckets.

Then you buy a one and a half inch uniseal for each bucket. Clean up the bucket around the hole you just drilled shove the uniseal in.

Then just put a length of inch and a quarter PVC between the two and drop a AirStone in your second bucket. That's it you're good to go.

Ok so I changed the dwc water but I’m pretty sure the Ppm’s are to high and I’ll get some nuit burn. Going to watch it over the next couple of hours and see what happens. Hoping the extra nuits will help them take off but normally that’s not my luck lol. I’ll keep everything posted as I figure it out. Need to learn to have a light hand with them. I tend to go by the chart and In the end the Ppm’s are super high and I even lower them but still have to go lower after that. I see people on here with like a 1700 reading and there plants love it. But one of my plants so far loved a 1300 and the other only a 1000 from my last rez change. Does anyone here use sm-90? I had it from my last grow but haven’t used it in this one at all.

Ok I got some nuit burn so I lowered the Ppm’s and I’ll take pictures later. Just hope it’s good now and the burn doesn’t look that bad for now. I’ll watch it over the next couple hours still.

Day 25. Ok so got a little nuit burn on the very tips of one plant and a few curled leaves on the other.after dropping the Ppm’s down a bit it doesn’t like bad. I do have a few white hairs in the middle of the plant and just wanna make sure if that’s what it’s supossed to be doing.

Should I take some of the fan leafs off now or should I wait?

I use SM 90 in coco and I first started using it in deep water culture. I would definitely put it in at the rate of 2 mil per gallon. That is if you measure with irrigation syringes.

Most guys defoliate it's kind of hard to tell how much you need under LEDs can't really see in the pictures.

The best way to find your proper nutrient level is to check your parts per million and your pH once a day and keep track of your water level your part per million and your pH. Ideally your water level and your part per million would be falling and your pH would be staying about the same may be falling a touch. More nutrients, most of the time is wrong with autoflowers. Usually it's the slightly underfed plant that really grows fast.

Once this grow is done I’ll be moving to a new house and I’ll be starting my new grow there. I’m getting 15 more autoflower seeds from bearhill seeds for free to test new strains. I got about 5 to 7 weeks left on this grow. Can’t wait to see how this grow turns out. I think I’m doing good on size so far

Day 26. One plant has some ball spots on the lower fan leafs. Going to keep a eye on it to make sure it’s not a cal def. they both seem to be doing good other then that.

Ok had a scare last night. I was at work and power went out at home. Lucky it was only for about 10 mins cause I wasn’t at home to pull them out of the water. The look good still I’ll have more pics later. I raised the lights up a bit to see if I can get them to raise up a little. They are getting super bushy.
