Ok this should be my last question I should have to ask before harvesting. I’ve read some people turn out the light a few days before harvest. Is that something I should do or does it make a difference?

I will often turn my red lights off for a couple days before Harvest. There's some good research on that with lumigrow LEDs. The research shows that increases terpene production I can't remember if it increases THC, but that's probably why old school Growers have gone with the darkness before Harvest.

I wet trim and hang a branch at a time. I trim loose the first time through and then if I want I can do a secondary trim after they're dry. If I do a secondary trim I usually do that just before I smoke them, I like to leave those longish trim leaves on, to kind of guard the main trichomes. From what I've seen on this forum most people trim those little leaves right off immediately.

Second this, ive found this to be the easiest way but i wet trim my buds pretty bare and get what i missed after they are dry:smoke:

I've heard opinions both ways. I can tell you last med. grow, I was tired and sore so left some little popcorns on the main stem for about a day and a half. I decided to snip them off on final clean of pots and tent and noticed something strange....super white and sparkly. I put them next to popcorn trim from first night on a plate for comparison and they were WAY frostier! Think I took a pic, have to look around. Next grow I'm gonna try and give them 24hrs. dark if I can before chop, just hard with more than 1 plant going and different chop times.

Day 88 ok guys going to chop tomorrow. They don’t seem to be getting any fatter and most of the trichomes are clear. Here’s final pics before chopping and I’ll post with update on dry weight and how the smoke turned out after my girl tries it.

Ok guys I know it’s been awhile but I got final dried weight is 22oz more like 20 without the steams. We are still curing it but so far it’s a good body high with a light head high. I probably should have let it go for another week or two cause it’s still not as Dense as it can be so it burns quick. Taste is kinda lemon with a hint of sandalwood/earthy. With give a final evaluation after fully cured

Well I move into my new house I’m buying on the 24th so I’ll start my next grow around the 5th of the following month. I’m going to grow 5 plants on my next one cause I’m getting a 4x4x8 tent. I’m going to try 3 strains. Going to do 2 bluestreak 99, 2 white widow, and one delicious candy. I’m going to be trying organic soil on this run and I may end up setting my hydro up again and run 2 more plants but that depends on the room I have to work with. If I do my hydro grow I’ll end up doing two non autoflower heavyweight gold mine.
