Yeh sealed up its So 27 Celsius so bang on 80...humidity has went down to 40% hard to get that to stay high... Any tips, already leaving water in the bottom tray and spraying the dome
Another one kush how much should I feed them? Obvs just ph'd water, but how much should I soak the cubes? And cheers for the help mate appreciated a lot!
I soak my rockwool in quarter strength nutes pH'd to 5.6 and germinate in those with pumps running in the NFT systems so I'm not sure on feeding frequency but would probably go with once a day. I'm told letting the rockwool dry out a bit between feedings would encourage faster root growth but I'm not sure by how much. Keeping them wet seems like less risk so I went with that to start with at least.
Quarter strength nutes I reckon though......in soil you might not need to feed nutrients at all stages because the nutrients in the soil prevent starvation but there are no nutrients in what little medium you will be using. I guess 4" rockwool cubes and NFT spreader mat is in the plan? Are the big cubes already soaking to remove as much of the lime as possible?

Yeh I've just given them canna start 1/4 strength and see how they respond....and yeh I've already ph'd the water to 5.6 so there in now ready to go and I'll change the water tommorow and get them back in

Hi bud nice lil read .. i am going to drop a bomb shell on you and i an sure ither will argue but .. starting off autos under a hps .. dematicly reducess ur end result by far i have done 3 test now on this .. on an auto flower called super hash ... from pyramid seeds i think and every time ... i start 2 seeds one under hps ... on 18/6 ... and other under CFL FOR THE FIRST 2WEEKS until pre flower shows .. then both are under 600watt hps .. results every time cfl started autos were better yelders ... better bud qty etc ... try it its the huge increase in light from cfl to hps that sets off mass bud production
Cheers for that mate, yeh I'm going to buy CFL's or t5 for early stages next time. I've known people use hps from the start and get amazing results, see where I get to eh haha I've got mine under 18/6

Took the dome off because the humidity is better with it off
Lights are about 22 inches away, I don't know if it's too much heat or what? Havnt watered since last night, rockwool is still damp.
