Okay I flipped a coin and made the executive decision to tackle topping and training full on with this OG Kush auto plant. What I have been reading says that the lower nodes, specifically nodes 1 and 2 rob the upper part of the plant of energy. So since I am wanting nodes 3 and 4 to fully develop I decided to go ahead and carefully remove nodes 1 and 2 along with the cotyledon. I used a pair of nearly new trimming scissors that I cleaned very well with alcohol first and then made my cuts. What I am left with now is node 3 which is pretty well developed/established and node number 4 which is getting bigger each day. With the plant being 14 days post sprout today I think time may be running out. But I feel like if I don't try I don't learn. Here are a couple photos of what's left of my plant after surgery. I hope I didn't screw it up too badly.

Please chime in and share your thoughts. Did I screw it up completely? Will it maybe survive? Or did I do just right and things will be golden? I value your opinions.
Ref they were photos though. Iv screwed up loads in the veg stage of autos as well to be fair. Lights dying and all sorts...I once left my plants for like 3 weeks without watering or extraction. You’ll be fine! I got a pretty good harvest in the end also. Lucky she was in veg!
