New Grower My First AFN Journal ~~Original OG Kush auto in 15 gallon pot~~ Stop in and Say hello!

I'm not totally confident about this little seedling. Not much of a taproot when I transplanted her. This is Mephisto Sour Orange Livers which sprouted three days ago. I transplanted her this morning into a 15 gallon pot with my homemade soilless medium. I hope she makes it cause that was my only seed.

Well in spite of me as of this morning both the Original OG Kush auto and the Sour Orange Liver auto seedlings are sill alive. Both are under my 280 watt QB light at full strength raised to the top of my 4' tent. I gave each plant a micro feeding of MC this morning pouring a circle about 2" diameter around the tiny plants.

I bought a new gadget for my cell phone to help me better look at the trichromes on my plants to make a better educated decision as to when to harvest my plants. In the past I tried looking through loupes but with not as much success as I felt I needed. These photos are hand held and shaky old man hands at that. Once I buy one of those cell phone holders that will allow me to put my phone on a tri-pod I think this lens is going to be a game changer. Here are a couple pics I took. Not sure I can mention the name or company who manufactures the product so send me a PM if interested.

Hope everybody had a wonderful weekend.

I snapped a photo of the Original OG Kush this evening. I watered her and fed her a little very light tea with an NPK of .5/1/.5 Her second set of permanent leaves have sprouted.

This is a pic of her roommate the Sour Orange Livers I wasn't sure was going to make it but she's perked up now after being transplanted. I fed her the same light tea today.

Lookin' good there LDA!!:greenthumb:

Both the young ladies got their first MC feeding this morning. Might be a tad early for the Sour Orange Livers but she needs to get going. I saw a couple fungus gnats playing around in the Original OG Kush pot so I sprinkled some Mosquito Bits around the surface and watered them in. I also put some of the yellow sticky paper around the edge of the pot here and there. With the fan blowing on them, the M Bits, and the sticky paper I hope to wipe them out before they become a problem.

Hey, is there a place on AFN where seed distributors and breeders are reviewed? I was wondering about the quality of Seed Stockers any buying from Linda Seeds. I'm in the US

Is it just me or has my Mephisto Sour Orange Livers suddenly taken a turn for the worse? Not sure I've seen a young plant look like this. What do you guys/gals think? I truly appreciate your help, guidance and knowledge.

Here is an update on the Original OG Kush auto the plant this thread is all about. She sprouted on 3/3/21 so is 7 days old today. Much of the reading I've done regarding topping autos says to do it on or very close to day 14 post sprout. I am planning to top her above her 3rd node. I'm not sure she's going to get there in 7 more days unless she has a sudden growth spurt. I'm not seeing that 3rd node starting yet. I think they get a slow start above ground in these 15 gallon pots but I bet there is a lot going on below ground.

A quick update on the Original OG Kush from FastBuds. Since I started feeding her I am noticing her color is looking a little darker green. Still impatiently waiting for the third node to make an appearance. I hope she gets big enough fast enough that I am able to top and train her.
