New Grower My First AFN Journal ~~Original OG Kush auto in 15 gallon pot~~ Stop in and Say hello!

Today I got the hand cart and lugged the OG Kush's 15 gallon pot outside. It was quickly replaced by four new auto babies and they moved in next to..........you guessed it the Quarter Pounder X Dark Devil auto plant. After her major leaf trim I could fit the circle of light around her. It's a bit low as the OG Kush was a shorter plant but I know it's pushing light in to the sides of the plant. I'll get it up on a couple wooden blocks to raise it up a bit.

Here are some QPA X DDA pics from this morning. She is at sprout +61 days today. I have grow several plants of each of the parents of this strain and they both run long. For the Quarter Pounder autos Seed to harvest averaged about 90 days. I love growing the Dark Devil because of the sweet aroma, dark purple buds and leaves, and the potency it packs. When I first started growing the Dark Devil plants everyone I know who was growing them were letting them go 90-100 days so that is what I was doing (blindly) as we jumped off the bridge. Now when I run them I harvest them around the 80 day mark seed to harvest. So I am anticipating a harvest window of around 85 days giving me a tentative harvest date of Saturday June 5th. We shall see. OH and one thing I am noticing with this plant is that traits of each parent are showing through which I find really exciting. She is showing the purple (to a bit of a lesser extent) of a Dark Devil. Her aroma has a hint of sweet in it but definitely favors the aroma of the Quarter Pounder plants. Sorry, I get long winded sometimes.

Excellent information . I will keep this in mind when I grow both strains and the cross. I will do a sea of green with minimal training and compare . Cheers mate.

Diary update for today 5/13/21 for the QPA x DDA

She is at sprout +62 days today and continues to look good.

The buds harvested off the Fast Buds Original OG Kush auto are 2 or 3 away from being dried.

Here are a few pics of the QPA X DDA taken this morning. Hoping over the next 10-14 days those colas swell up a good bit.

I have a goal to reverse the Sour Stomper this go round since I only have one more seed. Same goes for the Fast Buds Lemon Pie, I only bought one seed with the intent of reversing it to make some S1 seeds for my collection.

I'm hoping it will bounce back but I badly damaged the Lemon Pie by getting distracted and feeding her a nutrient mix meant for plants on their 5th week of veg. I think she will live but has to be badly stunted from that. Even her third node is showing a tiny bit of burn. Totally my fault and if I had another Lemon Pie seed I would have considered culling this poor angel and starting another seed but she's all I've got.

Best of luck with that one, I sounded a few of mine but I always pop more than I need. Might reverse this Chocotorta (it’s a hemp fem auto, I believe it was a hemp variety or a 1:1 gotta find the breeder online again but I remember he posted the test results for it)
