Somebody got a haircut!!

I believe my QPA X DDA has finished stretching so it was time she got a major haircut. I know many of you cringe when you hear or see this so you might want to close your eyes and not look at these pictures. I personally feel that she now has much more light penetration and air flower and she still has a ton leaves left.

Im all for trimming. You gave her a serious chop. I need to be more agressive next time, almost a lollipop style trim. My plants have been super bushy in the middle and i worry about air flow/ bud rot.

As the journal for the OG Kush auto has been completed that leaves me with the Quarter Pounder auto X Dark Devil auto. If anyone has any interest in seeing this plant through to completion please comment below. If nobody is interested I will quit with the posts of her progress and not be disappointed in the least. I did snap a picture of one of her buds this morning. Pleased to see some purple (Dark Devil trait) starting to show up and she is starting to exude an interesting aroma.

I decided that since the humidity was perfect for bud drying this week I put the buds onto a couple drying screens in the closet with a small fan moving the air around. A quick pic of one of the buds.

Not very much I believe but I've been surprised before with the dry weight. My guess will be around 45ish grams.

45 from 1 plant is very good i think, i guess we will find out in a week or so.

Here are some QPA X DDA pics from this morning. She is at sprout +61 days today. I have grow several plants of each of the parents of this strain and they both run long. For the Quarter Pounder autos Seed to harvest averaged about 90 days. I love growing the Dark Devil because of the sweet aroma, dark purple buds and leaves, and the potency it packs. When I first started growing the Dark Devil plants everyone I know who was growing them were letting them go 90-100 days so that is what I was doing (blindly) as we jumped off the bridge. Now when I run them I harvest them around the 80 day mark seed to harvest. So I am anticipating a harvest window of around 85 days giving me a tentative harvest date of Saturday June 5th. We shall see. OH and one thing I am noticing with this plant is that traits of each parent are showing through which I find really exciting. She is showing the purple (to a bit of a lesser extent) of a Dark Devil. Her aroma has a hint of sweet in it but definitely favors the aroma of the Quarter Pounder plants. Sorry, I get long winded sometimes.
