Thanks for all the traffic folks, that's more than I see in a typical week :D Trap was spot on it's a technique to open up the canopy, same as LST but with lower stress, and without the need to keep track of a gazillion(give or take) tie downs. I don't think I used it to the full extent possible but the plant on the left has just refused to stop growing in full bush mode so getting the branches apart has been a considerable challenge and after accidentally snapping the main stem on the other plant I've become a bit gun shy. I might experiment with other materials for the netting next time, I used paracord because I have bags of it laying around from my time with Uncle Sam, but it's a little on the soft side, I think it would be easier with a firmer netting material.

$1.49 for a 400ft roll of garden twine. I used manila twine on the first one I built. That worked great! and even cheaper lol!

Thank you very much Chandy!! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading yours as well, you have a funny personality and a very descriptive writing style.

I think this one will be alright for the rest of this grow but I'll definitely be looking to replace it for the next one so thanks a lot for the heads up Pop! The problems I have with para cord are a.) its diameter makes it cumbersome when navigating branches. And b.) it's too soft and accommodating. Garden twine would fix both issues I think.

.: Day 57 :.

So I decided to not use the Grow and instead I increased the dose of Bloom to 2ml/l which effectively doubled the amount of Nitrogen I was adding which I think should be enough to stave off any deficiency for now. In addition to the Bio-Bloom they got 1ml/l of Topmax and that's it for this feeding.

The Geopots and the soils for my next grow shipped today and will be here by weeks end. The amendments will hopefully be close behind so I can stay on track with my projected start date of the first of August. That would give me time to build the super soil and 30 days for it to activate.

Well, that's all I have for now on updates. I'll try to include some explosions or something in the next update. Speaking of, here's a shot of the girls from just after watering.

I was planning on making a scrog with a bunch of speaker wire I have collecting dust haha. I made the frame with some pvc pipe but never finished attaching the speaker wire as I decided to wait until my next grow to try and scrog. Yours looks awesome though and much easier. =o

Thanks Freiya, I didn't really feel like going out and buying materials so I just used what I had laying around. Speaker wire should work if you want to save yourself from buying more materials.

What week you on Medi? I'd be tempted to bump up the topmax.

Week 8, so I guess I should be bumping up to 4ml/l now, I forgot to check the chart :\

Off the top of my head the chart suggests a bump from 1ml to 4ml at week 7 or 8.
