Hey hugo I will be going into the city at the wknd when the hubby comes home from work so I can get something then, do u think the ash will be ok til then? What about egg shells? Could I use them?

Hey Mandycheese! I've been reading the last bit of pages back... I know the guys have given you some great info. I just have a question... Is that an Auto? At 83 Days she's probably just finishing up. Looks like Natural Progression to me. Though it won't hurt to give her some Molasses a time or two before final flush. Will boost resin production/trichs and fatten up those calyxes. Also, is that your only plant you're growing? I ask this because if you are running more than one and it's only happening to one plant I wouldn't think you have a pH problem or overall deficiency...

Yep, those are fine too, but they're not as fast acting. Do you have a blender or something you can turn the eggshells into fine powder? That's the best way to get all the goodieness from the eggshells.

You're near the end of that baby, and that cal issue is not very strong. The key here is just not worrying too much. It's really ok.

Thanks for popping by WVR and the advise and kind words. The lady is the only child although I wish there were more. but this is for next time. She is an auto although she as been a bit slow. I am really confused as to what to do at the minute. I have nothing to hand only what's in the house until I get to the city at the wknd. the joys of living in the highlands.
Hey they hugo, I don't have a blender but I have a strong arm and a pestal and morta. Am I rite in thinkin I have to put them in the hot oven first and then grind them? What do I do with them after? Do I put them straight on the soil as I would the ash or do I make a tea?
And given that these are my only options for the week ahead which would u say is the best option?

Yep, cooked egg-shells. Eheh just put some powder on top of the medium and water it. It will take time to take effect! You can use the water you have boiled the eggs in to foliar or apply in soil after it cools off.

Hmmm even the slowest of my Autos was ready at 80 days. I could have let it go longer...

but, when did this problem start? Have you always had this issue since she started growing? Depending on your reply but, to me she's just finishing up.

If you think or want her to go 2 more weeks then this is just natural. The fan leaves will turn all sorts of colors and yellowing because it's using up the last of whatever it needs toward the end of it's life cycle. Then the sugar leaves (the short sharp lookin' leaves beneath the calyxes) will start to yellow. Muddy and Jackal too I believe like to let all the fan leaves and all the sugar leaves yellow up before harvesting... It's all your personal preference in what you want from your smoke but I don't think you have an issue or deficiency. She's just finishing up nicely! But a teaspoon of Molasses or two before flush will boost your resin/trichs and fatten up the calyxes. You could even put her in a dark light leak proof room for 48 hours before chop and the buds will swell so much they'll look like they are gonna explode! :smokebuds:

Good choice! Use a small amount because it raises your pH
