Good advise!

I also have a late auto. Showed her sex at 41 days old. But that's because she got cold weather and no sun for 1 month!

Hmmm even the slowest of my Autos was ready at 80 days. I could have let it go longer...

but, when did this problem start? Have you always had this issue since she started growing? Depending on your reply but, to me she's just finishing up.

If you think or want her to go 2 more weeks then this is just natural. The fan leaves will turn all sorts of colors and yellowing because it's using up the last of whatever it needs toward the end of it's life cycle. Then the sugar leaves (the short sharp lookin' leaves beneath the calyxes) will start to yellow. Muddy and Jackal too I believe like to let all the fan leaves and all the sugar leaves yellow up before harvesting... It's all your personal preference in what you want from your smoke but I don't think you have an issue or deficiency. She's just finishing up nicely! :D But a teaspoon of Molasses or two before flush will boost your resin/trichs and fatten up the calyxes. You could even put her in a dark light leak proof room for 48 hours before chop and the buds will swell so much they'll look like they are gonna explode! :smokebuds:

Oooo thanks for that WVR I was going to ask about 48hr dark, the spots have only just appeared this wk apart from that I haven't had any problems whatsoever.
So I asked yesterday but got lots of mixed responses, when should I start to flush then? I'm sorry for all the questions, I only hope by asking I will in return be able to help another. :)

Ask away Mandy! If I know the answer I'll help you, if I don't, I go to the higher ups. Either way we'll get it sorted out.

If this is the first trouble your having then there's your answer... She's just finishing up. At this stage there's no reason to stress over a yellow spotted leaf. When they are ready to finish up they do their thing and you can't do anything about it lol Can't stay green and lush forever! :D

Now to answer your questions... What are your goals for harvest? Are you going by trich color? Beware some Autos don't amber up no matter how old they are, that's if you're going by trich color... If you are wanting it to go another 2 weeks. I would give her straight pH'd water and molasses (a teaspoon, like Hugo said... Small dose). She'll eat it up like crazy and reward you with sticky, resinous buds.

If from right now you plan to chop in two weeks then start your water and molasses flush now. If you're waiting more than 2 weeks wait to flush. Also if you're growing organic, I did for a while, I'd flush last week only...Organics you don't have to stress about flushing more than Chems. And I'm assuming you're growing organically asking about egg shells... So if it were me and I have a 2 week goal for chop... I'd start rotating water and molasses. Next water and molasses, next straight water, next water and molasses, next straight water until flush.

2 nights before your chop date pull her out and into a dark sealed up place with no light leakage but where she can still breathe for 48 hours UNINTERRUPTED. I say this boldly LOL because it's very important. You're tricking the plant into thinking it's behind on a deadline and it works over time to meet that deadline (in the plants mind LOL). So I hope this give you some helpful info... I was just using the 2 week factor as an example... I don't know your goals but wanted to use an example we'd all understand. LOL :smoke:

thanks WVR 2wks is actually about what I was thinkin, lol so I'm going with that schedule :D thanks and please stay around to see how she gets on. :)

:pop: Oh no worries my friend! I got my popcorn and I'm ready for the finish line! I'll be following from now on! Sorry I got in so late! :pop: She looks to be a tasty frosty lass she does!! :thread:

:dance::booya::buds:

Finally some sense! :) 2 weeks was what I was thinking aswell when I mentioned muddy's life-cycle post. I just lack the experience to be as simple as that :)

Hey hugo, u dnt lack the sence lol I gotcha there was so much going on yesterday I got mighty confused with what it was I had actually asked haha thanks for helping out, :D :D

Hey guys.......... First off thanks for all the knowledge that's just been fed into my little brain. :D it is all gud I like different opinions! But not arguments. We r all friends and we all share the same hobby so please all be nice :D
Sorry I disappeared yesterday but I'm bk now. So....
The water I use comes from the mountains and hills behind my house it is lovely its initial ph is 6.8-6.9 it only drops to 6.3 with the biobizz. I dnt use the micro flora... I have biobizz grow and biobizz bloom.
Wood ash.....hhmmm interesting I am currently burning fallen birch trees on my open fire, wud this be a gud ash to use? I have heard about this b4 but I did forget.
I've locked the cat downstairs today, opened the door on the grow space and the fan is on, its just gone 9.40 and the temp is 24.5 so its gonna get hot today.

Thank you to everyone! I appreciate ur help advise as much as ever. Hope u all stick around to see the grand finale if we get there. :D
would be interrested in the parts per million of total disolved solids in your water alot of ground water has toooo much and this will not let the plant roots properly
exchange molecules
but i would have sorta figured this would have been covered in the 40 pages of advise before i was involved
only two weeks till flush??
two weeks till planned 2 week flush?
if you are immediately starting flush wouldn't advise of placing wood ash onto soil if this close it won't really be instantly availabe and could become an issue if you found you added too much while on the learning curve and trying to leach it out during flush
in most places w/ ground water as mentioned you should have enough cal if ph is in proper range
good luck you will prop finish reading all this crap when the plant is already finished:P
