I have thought about premixing like 3 gals. The way I do it is not ideal from what you are saying. I ponder the idea of mixing it pre hand in like 3 gals at full strength then cutting it with water per stage of plant when needed.

I would make the initial mix at something like 10x what you will use, and dilute from there. If you only do 3 gallons of usable strength, the amount of MC will be small enough to make mixing the dry ingredients challenging, IMO. If 30 gallons is more than you will need for the whole grow, even going 10x on one gallon would be better than 3 gallons at normal strength.

Just my thinking on this, but keep careful mixing of the dry stuff in mind.
