Did you replace both battery cables and all of the grounding straps to the body and motor? That battery corrosion can happen inside the cable where you cannot see it.

I think you have a faulty alternator with some flakey diodes.

You all know she lost that arm to a shark attack! Apparently surfers are on the menu! :yoinks:

Surfed in the Red Tringle for years. Great white central! When the seals disappear, it's time for you too...

Plenty of tigers in Hi as well.

Ya cuz all the other options there are same as before i put the new alternator in so if any of those were bad shoulda been giving me the warning before i ever swapped alternator out but I didn’t get this warning til after and i know from the awful squeak it was making last one was on its last leg but no warning til the new one was installed! Only thing I haven’t checked is the alternator fuse under the hood but i would assume if that was out i would have more issues happening then an occasional warning light! Gonna go for a drive with my multimeter handy tomorrow and when it comes on i can check voltage! Unless it shows as off when i test it before driving tomorrow cuz could always be putting out the improper voltage and it just takes time for the computer to sense it and trip the warning on the dash!

You know I am a Scuba Diver? Most dangerous sharks hunt looking up. Looking up at surfers and snorkelers from down below, it looks a lot like a wounded seal. Humans are terrible swimmers, think most shark attacks are just a case of mistaken identity. Oh yes when the normal sea life exits from your area quickly you better look behind you.

We were diving at Pixie Pinnacle in Australia on the Great Barrier Reef south of Lizard Island when a really big shark swam from really deep off to the east. It looked like a sardine at first, then it just kept getting bigger and bigger as it slowly meandered up and closer. Pretty soon it was obvious this was a Great White as big as a car. It really is the only time I felt nervous about a shark. It swam pretty close to the pinnacle near the bottom ~ 120 feet than just swam off out of sight.

I know these pictures are from Pixie Pinnacle because it is the only place I ever saw this fish - a lacy scorpion fish.

I lost my dive logs from Australia although I may have a copy an DVD somewhere. I have about 40 DVDs full of dive video and photos.

Does that car have a fusible link wire? I don't remember what vehicles had those a bad one could be getting hot and creating resistance but not enough to blow?
