Made the walk this morning.

The code said out of date when I tried? Oh wow I was using the wrong code    Oh well $15 for 3 pounds of Part A is a bargain and I do not mind supporting GreenLeaf.

I found this old one from May 2021 but I did not label it to the type A or one part? When you read the website it gets confusing because he talks about This is so confusing.

@Greenleaf Nutrients what is in the Part A bag now?

The 8-12-28 is the current upgraded Part A formula. Its slightly better for Cannabis compared to 5-12-26 (better ratios), and more powerful/cost effective. It can be used interchangeably dosage wise with 5-12-26 however without any bad effects (slightly stronger).

The top right photo is an older Mega Crop 1 Part label.

The bottom label is the old/previous Mega Crop Part A formula.

The Mega Crop Part B is Calcium Nitrate, and can be used interchangeably as well.

I repeat myself runoff is worthless for soil or coco PH. If you wish to test soil PH (mostly not needed) You can do a slurry test but in order to get an accurate result you need to sample the soil in several places and depths this is really disruptive to the roots or you need a good test tool.

This is the probe I used to use connected to my Blue Lab combo meter,

I took Harley Smiths Master Grower course and learned that the plants themselves change the PH in the biome to suit their needs. So that chasing the PH in the pot was actually stunting my plants.

The Accurate 8 or the clone of it is the least expensive fairly accurate probe I would recommend. This is the clone:
🙏 thank you, i was just reminded that i need a new soil ph tester. I had one that looked like the clone of the accurate 8 but was much cheaper. Lasted a few yrs. I didnt know that about the runoff, i will not waste my time and just worry about the ph of nutes going in and monitoring the soil ph. Thank you MOG!

Any idea why the runoff from my pots would smell really sulfury?

Its just a mix of perlite, raised bed mix I got at home depot, and coco coir.

My plants aren't growing that great, and the runoff smells god awful.
Sounds like root rot. Hydroguard or peroxide will help but they're gonna be stunted if they're autos

I find this chart quite helpful in understanding ph and nutrient availability. Saved my ass more than once.....
