Thank god i was the one driving when it happened but noticed on way home from dallas my dashboard was flashing a message to check charging system so had me worried! Exited and went to auto zone cuz i was worried that alternator from yesterday was defective but wound up being battery! Didn’t think that was an option as it was swapped with warranty in February but i guess driving with that alternator going out caused battery to go out! Luckily was still under warranty from when it was bought in 2022 so was back on the road quickly!:headbang:

Alternator and starter will toast a battery like hot heat, cold, and bad connections. The side swell is 1st sign I've always noticed. Cold here gets them and if we have a long enough heat wave, but usually it will purposely wait til it's -20 out and then magically go out, but start like a champ at -19 the day before.

If the temperature if my state actually hit -20 i think the entire population would shrivel up and die! I usually wear shorts to my sisters for Christmas! :eyebrows::headbang::crying:
