Scuffing embup a lttle might help the water get thru a little better like @JP1 saidive also heard a drop of superthrive can help. I just recently tried to germ seeds that were 15+yrs old and out of about 25seeds i got 2 to germ and one was female. When i use fresh seeds i have almost 100% germ rates So it could just be age. Wishing you the best results, hopefully you can get some of those JEMs to get going!!

I went and got some 220 grit sandpaper from my garage and gave the seeds a scuff on the end and along the seam on the side.

So we shall see.

Thanks for the advice, guys.

superthrive

Use Kelp and Humic super thrive has or did have PGR's in it. I remember guys talking about it and they don't like to tell you whats in it:nono::redcard: I used it one time when I got some free with jiffy pellets then learned about it and stopped using it:toke::pass:

Yeah, I have had great results with superthrive on tomatoes but I do not like they don't tell you what is in it. I think its mostly B vitamins.

I just roll the sandpaper so the rough is on the inside then put seeds there. Cap both ends with fingers and shake back and forth 10-20 times then soak 3-5 hrs then plant. But I have seen folks go as far as scraping the edges off with the paper :goodluck::d5::pass:

@Bill.de.Cat How did that water farm grow go? I'm thinking about getting my daughter's old unit up with an extra airstone when I have room.
Not sure about a water farm. I. Had a cloner that misted from the bottom and it worked too good. A friend wanted to do a massive guerilla grow inn multiple locations so I cloned him about 200 , had em fully rooted in solo cups ready to take out and plant. Fvcker never showed, never called so after a month of taking care of em I trashed em. Saw him 6mon later, he broke his phone and forgot about the clones.

If you get superthrive in CA at least it is just kelp extracts. There are natural PGRs present in kelp, so that makes sense but any kelp extra will have the same.

A friend's dad wanted some clones and seeds. So I gave him a bunch. Get some photos a few months later and he's growing them in like old paint cans and shit on a table in his basement under cheap aquarium grow lights.

*sigh*

I was told he'd been serious and had done this before.

And Glacial Acetic Acid....the reason I keep it away from my plants.

-Glacial acetic acid is a corrosive, anhydrous, and pure acetic acid that can cause severe skin, eye, and digestive tract irritation. Ingestion can cause severe corrosion injury.
