Thanks man. Ur always helpful with the diet advice. A lot of people here are. Ive learned a lot about the food im putting in my belly. I think most days i get my vegetables in. There's something about that after dinner/late night hunger where i can't really do meat and veggies anymore for the day. Idk y tho, I focus so hard on getting in what im "supposed to eat" at meals that in between i crave everything but. During the day i think i keep most of my snacks healthy, too. Well, healthier than i would have chosen before. Fruit, nuts, baby carrots, green giant frozen veggie trays, avocado , pb on an apple, jerky, cheese, greek yogurt. I think u may be onto something with the sports drinks too, i occasionally notice the symptoms of low electrolytes. And more with the more i eat???
All of that is good :cooldance: you're' dancing, and right now I would eat anything I wanted in your position, when you have gained some weight back then it will make sense to pair back on volume. learning to control the complex carbohydrates is the key to managing type II diabetes with diet. It is the hardest thing until it isn't. I just don't need more than 20% of my intake to be complex carbs. I do have days when I am way over but it is ok just get back the next day. Since I lost so much weight I can eat more carbs without the same effect it used to have on my blood sugar. Hint the carbs in green vegetables don't count even though they are partly complex.

Diabetes is a terrible disease if you don't control it. My Chef buddy just lost a foot to gangrene hopefully he will get out of the ICU tomorrow. For a while it did not look like he would make it. 🙏:karmacloud: He is not out of the woods yet but they are optimistic and he knows the foot is gone and did not wig out. Holy crap what do you say about the lost foot. "your pirate costume will be a killer this year". We are good friends and we will joke about it but underneath he is going to need a lot of support.

Was sound asleep........... Good Morfnoevight all! 💤 💤 💤

Morning Kittens :coffee2: Up early at 4am, 1st cup prepping for the day. Hoping the rule of 3 applies cause #3 happened yesterday. Month or so ago fridge went out, damn, 900 for a new one, then I got sick for most of a month and am just getting over it, got home yesterday around noon and wife says, water is out......go out to the pump house, burnt electrical smell. popped the cap, seperated points metered...240 to the points, so far so good...checked resistance across the windings, fvck... OL waited a while till it cooled hoping it was thermal overload but no such luck.....called around and got a 1 hp to replace it with. $930.00 out the door. So I know whats in store for me today. Kinda lucky though, DiL lives next door so we could just run a hose to their system to have water for a bit. Fingers crossed it's a standard direct on/off replacement, don't relish the idea of having to pull pipe and replace the cap.
So, that's 3 disasters in a row......no more for awhile. :kitty:
