@Hotfire , be prepared, HF usually comes with critters. Any new HF I buy for use in the house I usually do a good cook in the oven.

Yeah I've been using HF for almost 2 years now and I do get some fungus gnats but not as many as people make it sound. I got some yellow stickies in there but they don't get filled up or anything just a few on each side maybe 1 or 2 floating around the tent till they find the trap as well. I had 1 bag that was pretty bad but other than that it's been very minimal. Hopefully I can switch away from it at some point. I keep talking about doing it but it's just so damn convenient, cheap, and easy for a noob like me to not really have to do much and still get a QP per plant. I'm ready to explore other options and that's why I chose the BAS 3.0!

51 days in on Asian Haze testing the 3.0 for next months all AutoSeeds grow. The 5 gallon bag is not fully filled.
The AutoSeeds grow will be in 15 gallon Grassroots Living Soil Pots. Still going to top dress and use ferments along with Bluemat watering rings.
No veg........ she's been on 12/12 all her life, after 8 days in the humidity dome.

@Hotfire are you using BAS living soil? I’m considering trying it on an autopot run since it’s water only. I hear fungus gnats are a problem but they sell some super strength BTI to help with that. Do you have any info or experience with either?

I'm using the 3.0 from BAS for the first time, seedling is on day 1 today. So far so good!
@WildBill is the guy you wanna talk to not sure who else uses it.
