@Bill.de.Cat SS is not paid on a date but a day of the month. Mine comes on the second Wednesday of the month so the date can be from the 8th to the 14th for me.

Thanks for that bit of info. Seems then mine is 4th Wed of the month so It should drop the 27th. Was us bugging me cause wife's is the 3rd, period. Always the 3rd, if it's on a weekend then on Fri or Mon. Have tracked that for a couple years off and on as I got closer.

What the heck am I doing up so early My regular sleep pattern has been disrupted, going to bed to early getting up way too early, next thing you know I will be turning in before 9 pm

Charged the car last night here is what it looks like on a graph. This will give me about 125 miles range. This time of year that is about a days solar production or less than half a day in the summer. I go backwards in Nov. Dec., Jan. and part of Feb, the rest of the year I am in the plus territory.

There was a flood in my building! Not sure the cause but its been contained. The damage is pretty extensive. I live on the third floor and the water came from a unit about 5 doors down. There are two restaurants on the first floor, apparently they were both flooded as well. Along with any units on the second and first floor on the way down. I noticed water coming in my unit from outside about a foot inside my apartment and heard commotion of people working to get it contained. It was a couple hours of madness trying to dam my door and hook the shop vac up to the sink and protect my apartment. But its over now! I won the fight! My stuff is safe!!! Boris took it like a champ and just watched me run around like a maniac while he laid on the bed lol. I have an inspection to look for damage but i dont think i have any, some other neighbors probably arent so lucky, as it happened after 10pm and alot of them probably slept thru it and will wake up to a lake! I'm just glad its over.

Wow what a bummer, I hate plumbing. Now you need to worry about black mold, watch the seams of floors and walls for the next few months.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. The fact that AFN allows mostly free speech here does allow unqualified growers to give growing advice here. Some of it is good some is not. Some might be revolutionary new techniques some might be adding to much Cal-Mag. The thing is, it is up to every individual grower to determine how they are going to grow their plants. I see peeps that grow quite successfully doing all manor of things that I think should not work so well

Ok it is finally time to start my regular Monday of to the market to see if the scallops are on sale - wish me luck.

@Mossy, was watching a vid about the farmer in the UK and heard the term stamp duty. Never heard that before. Looked it up and property tax rates came up. 5% from 250K pounds to 625K pounds. That's insane!!!! 400 is 20,000 a year. Holy Shite!!!
