Sounds like your carpal tunnel is squeezing the nerve. I get that when I do heavy work like swinging a hammer for hours, or mountain bike pounding on my hands. You prolly need to get somebody else to do your painting and hole-digging. If I sleep with a wrist brace like they use for rollerblading it relieves it until the carpal inflammation goes down.

It’s not carpal tunnel. It’s cervical spinal stenosis…. Secondary condition to my spinal injury. Similar narrowing situation… but in my spinal column in my neck. Gets worse every year… one of these years it will probably start to suck big time. Hence the almighty dabs of ignorance
