I work in a building that was built in 1904, they used to do rebuilds and repairs to steam locomotives when it was new. It's not the most air tight place to be in winter. Our doors were meant to drive trains through.

Oh very true on something NEW that is unacceptable but that looks like a fix up patch in the field who knows what he was using for a machine or if he is even a welder.

Yea if your talking about my pic its just a handrail for a 3 step overpass on the machine. It does flex a lot at the weld, but its old and hasnt broke yet. I believe it was a stick weld
