Damn, good question. Definitely a luthier! Designing and building Custom stringed instruments would’ve been my jam! Not actually sure there is a “school” for this… think it’s just apprenticeship.
I'd love to learn to be a luthier! Met a guy in Taos NM a few years back who builds custom mandolins. He showed me around his shop and I've wanted to learn the trade ever since
To build guitars you need Luther tools too. I looked into putting on a new nut myself and each file is 30bux and you need 6 different ones for each string size. You file where the strings go. Look into stumac they sell them. I think because its a specialized market that can get away with charging 30bux for a file. But I decided I'm just gonna have the music store do it because its still cheaper then buying the tools. Btw building furniture is cool. Be cool to sit in your own creation
Came to the same decision about a mandolin im flipping around to lefty. Maybe someday I'll get the tools and start learning but for now I just want to play this mandolin and start leaning that again

They can eat all the candy they want at work, but you get caught even leaving the factory with a 1/2 eattin chocolate bar, and your fired on the spot.
One perk though, is they bring home sample bags of new candy, and we fill out a taste survey. Some things are terrible and some make it to production.
One time she brought home a grape flavored hershey kiss, dam things tasted so bad I contemplated eatting a cat turd to get the taste out of my mouth.

I smell some pirate stories. Did you wear a patch over one eye?
Somehow I managed to keep both peepers so far. In jail they did call me Popeye though, because I was skinny and my forearms were pumped. Plenty of pirate stories, they slip out from time to time. I'ma try and write them down.
