The grow is just doing so damn well!

Just my damn luck, I have to deal with this crap!:gassy:
I'm striking out in finding help. I'm glad that the destruction around here was relatively small, but it's not 'big enough' to warrant a declaration by the Gov. Defiantly NOT helping my depression for sure!:face: And it's REALLY screwing with me. That's also why I'm not smoking. And that makes my pain so much worse.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,endless circle with the pain not helping the depression.

I might have someone calling from a Vet group I contacted.

Again, thanks for everyone expressing support and sympathy. It has helped.

Got all of the upper cabinets emptied and clean out, everything washed or wiped down, and almost everything put away and organized. All that's left is all the plastic food storage containers now, which I'm gonna have to sort through cause we have way too much and some of the old stuff is to the point where it doesn't come clean anymore lmao. Cabinets over the sink and microwave are totally empty still, apparently my reorganizing has saved a ton of space lmao. And big bonus, all the small appliances are no longer living on my counters lmfao. The stuff that is rarely used is all in the cabinets over the fridge.

Then Amazon dropped these nifty lights off so of course I had to install them immediately. Hubby didn't know I had gotten these ones so he was shocked when he came home and I had Alexa turn them on. New bulb for the microwave will be here today, replacing the OEM halogen with an LED. Light for over the sink on the switch will be here tomorrow, may end up ordering a second one to daisy chain and mount to the cabinets to the left of the sink. New bulbs for the new light over the table came yesterday, and I'll be installing that new light fixture today as soon as it shows up (unless they don't come till dark in which case I'll do it tomorrow lol). Much excit

Hubby was like, I didn't know we needed these lights under the cabinets till I saw them there and now idk how we have been cooking without them  definitely rocks actually being able to see your workspace!

What ones did you order to stoned to remember mine are old and yellow need to upgrade them :thanks:

The lights have 5 different color temperature settings and a sliding scale of brightness. There's a nightlight mode that dims them to 30% and then shuts off after 5 hours which is awesome. I have them set to turn on and off with the kids lights and the hallway lights in the morning, they turn on along with the rest of the lights in the house at 10 minutes to sundown but will shut off automatically if there is no one in the room. If I tell Alexa I'm cooking they turn on to daylight at 100% and the echo starts my pandora station. If I tell her I'm getting a snack in my room while watching TV it now pauses the TV, turns the hall/stair light on at 50%, and turns on the lights in the kitchen. When I tell her I'm back it turns the lights back off and unpauses the show. I was playing with some of the new available programing last night and I now get a notification if the echo downstairs hears beeping, so no more having to have the kids let me know when the oven is preheated or when the timer for the oven/air fryer/instant pot etc goes off lol. I run a ton of automation programming through it and it's super helpful cause like, I don't look up to realize I'm sitting in my room in the dark cause the sun went down ages ago  and having it shut off lights when no one is in the room is a big energy saver when you have kids who don't turn the lights off when they leave rooms lmfao

The lights? I ended up getting the black and decker ones, this was 6 bars to a driver which is perfect for the area I needed with no extra thinking involved. I ran them around the frames instead of through the cabinets and they use adhesive so it honestly took longer to read the instructions than it did to install them  only 24w for the 6 9" bars as well so not too shabby lol
