I was in a gas station before the pandemic, well more like a local bodega ran by a young gentleman and the lady in front of me pulled money out of her bra to pay and you could see his eyes almost pop out of his head as he is repeated shaking his head at her saying "no tittie money gross" over and over.

This one was heart shaped a few days ago as well lol. Working on getting things positioned so I can lay the middle girl flat.

I used to work at a Walmart in Central IL, this struggle was all too real there.

Next time as u fill pot pick it up and drop it a few times to make the soil settle without packing it down! If u use your hands to make it settle u can make it too tight where roots can’t breathe so well! :d5:
Naaaaaaa...........let it settle naturally. More air in the soil and roots get less resistance to explore.

Think about it. If you make a new garden spot in your backyard and you have a nice pretty fluffy seedbed ready for seeds, do you compact it before you plant?

You know the level will go down. If you want a higher level after settling, add more media to start!

My front bed where I double dug it is still *super* spongey even now 6 months after I originally did it. I wouldn't be walking on it, but I planted a bunch of fruiting stuff out there and my raspberries are like oh hey btw we want to give you some fruit! Really need to put a path through with stepping stones but I haven't gotten that far yet.

I agree, the soil is gonna be as compact and hard as it can get by the end of the grow, no need to hurry that process. Let the new little roots have it easy:thumbsup:
