Soap is good. Detergent is not. In this case it is not tomato tomotoI Thought a drop of washing up liquid was a wetting agent....?
Over dry your pot so it won't absorb water...add a drop of washing up liquid.............
Remember when Ivory Flakes was the only clothes soap 
that and Castile soap would be ok but Dawn and others like it are detergents and not so good for your plants.
