I noticed you have some purple stalks, are yours just purple on top like mine?

I never really noticed. I don't pay much attention to stems.

So, the boys made it through the first 2 miles (out and back hitting one side of the street and then the other). We had 10 minutes left when we got back to the start point and they were super over it. #3 wanted to make it to 8 and so we went down the other direction and *every* house she went to they dumped the rest of their bowls in her bag, so she ended up with twice as much as her brothers a few houses had airplane bottles for the grown ups so that was pretty nice lol. Jim Beam Apple at the first plus fireball a few houses down made for a nice apple pie type double shot lol. May be a bit tipsy lol.

It helps that we live in the neighborhood I grew up in so it's nice cause I know to hit the back side of the neighborhood first (people get super excited to have kids come cause most go down the main drag on the front side of the neighborhood) and then use any leftover time on the front. The neighborhood is a huge circle and the main drag is shorter cause there is a long stretch with no houses at the front before you hit any more. Good for the little bitties cause only like a quarter mile each way but not great if you're trying to get as much candy as possible lol.

Was tired as hell so didn't bother with my night time cookie.....so here I am 2 hrs after going to bed wide awake. And if I take it now I'll be sleepy as hell at 5 am when I gotta get up....
