It's 48mp, so you can zoom in pretty well - it's just the max display size on AFN means you have to download and zoom in.

Here's a cropped / zoomed section - I'm just not sure that will be good enough or not come harvest time. Just trying to avoid another $10-$30 purchase...

Top Tip next time....Flash her once a week in flower..at first she will reflect back diamond white with sparkles...but as she goes over she will Dull and stop reflecting as much....Then...it is about time to harvest...

Yeah, That ain't gonna cut it. The cheap scopes will serve the purpose in checking ripeness. With a stand, you can get pretty good pics.
I'm sure there are more expensive models that may have better stats for creative pictures.

I got one of the hand loupes, but trust my camera better than my eyesight. Added a cheap $7 60x phone microscope to my amazon cart - we'll see if that works or goes straight into the garbage...

Now to play the "what else to buy to reach $25 for free shipping" game...

@KDawg - I invested in a USB microscope. Spent the $50 for a decent one. Plugable 2.0 USB Microscope , works well, the "arm" is too bendy but any 1/4" standard photography mount will work.

I may have an idea for a sponsor but they would have to agree to it first.
SourD is busy this weekend, streaming racing, so I guess Monday would be a good time to have a chat!
Maybe a group PM between a small group of interested parties , could hash out a plan together and see what we can come up with.
It would of course need to be first approved by the AFN top bods!
If we get a solid plan and a sponsor and approved, we can then let the rest of the forum in on it!
Timing would also be important, don't want too many comps running consecutively or sign up may be poor!

Well...you know...the buggers will probably Try to charge us for sunshine....Eventually......until then......I'm the most tight fisted gardener on AFN.....

You are never going to guess where the Frog effect is coming from......?.......the tiniest most shaded/immature buds on the plant...the stuff I normally don't even bother to trim up.......you wouldn't Believe it.....

The plants are ready to come down...top and exposed bud turned to Tacky....so not leaving much residue....but the immature shaded ones are still Slick...and That is where I'm getting it...

...I just need to pin down phenotype.....now I'm just going to have to Kiss a lot of Frogs......
