An investment guy on the radio is talking about inflation, pretty damn topical, and made a comment about remembering $1 movie tickets.
35 cents was the lowest I paid as a kid. That was 12 RC Cola bottles or 18 regular bottles to return. Not too many to collect! I kept mine locked up in a closet at the back of the carport.
Carport.............Having a concrete floor carport was so cool. Pop would move the car out and I had a place to play OUTSIDE when it was raining. No one else in the neighborhood had one!
Times are so damn different!!!
My Mom back in the day: "You didn't mind me! You have to stay in your room and can't go outside for the rest of the day!"
