Anyone ever have problems with the older mega crop? I bought some maybe two or three years ago and still haven't used it all. I've done a total of 3 dwc grows with it and each time I get what looks like calcium spots. I can't seem to correct it fully, I would increase the ppms to the point of burn on the leaf tips but the spots persist. Not sure how it affects the final yield.

So the problem with Mega Crop is that at the lower PPMs we feed our autos it is out of balance. When you take it up to ~1500 PPM things come into balance.

So here is what I do. This chart is for the MC 1 part V. 1. It calculates the PPMs of each element based on formulas from the guaranteed analysis and actual measurements I have made. It is for Autoflowering plants only.

I use the 2 part system with a different chart.

If your starting water PPM is ~ 100 then 3.25g per gallon of Mega Crop v1 with .75g per gallon of Epsom Salt 9,12 will give you good results in DWC

The res PPM will be about 600. Don't forget Kelp, Humic Acid, B- vitamins and Botanicare HydroGuard.

Think I'm going to wait till after the solo cup grow to try the bonsai thing. Meanwhile I'm really thinking about dropping a Sour Stomper lol. You think I could do her justice in a 1gal or should I give her a 5? From the breeder description it sounds like she stays pretty small but for the cost of the beans I'd like her to be able to reach her potential.

I say 5….if you like the smoke, you’ll want the larger yield
