@Mañ'O'Green or anybody else. Couple of my plants are so rootbound the feed won't even drain through. Pots are heavy so I know they're wet but I'm starting to find some dying leaves. Feed sits on top for a minute or 2 before soaking in. I tried stabbing the top a couple days ago with a fork but didn't seem to do anything. Any ideas to "soften" up the top so it soaks it? Still another couple weeks to go. Pots are rock hard and can't even squeeze them by hand to loosen it up anymore

I'm getting that now in 5 gallon oxypots, thinking of going to the 16"x16", 12 gallon because of it.

Reflections from the light. I don't even use perlite. Looks like this when they're not full of feed

I'm getting that now in 5 gallon oxypots, thinking of going to the 16"x16", 12 gallon because of it.

These are 1 gallon. I've got the hard top layer in bigger pots before but I've always been able to break it up with my fingers before it gets too bad

The only suggestion I can make and it's going to sound stupid but it's the only thing I found that worked with the solo's is just water as slow as possible.. I have to reduce the drip emitters as low as I can and only fertigate for a couple a mins before they're overflowing
